    Great for limited space
Was not very hard to install. The flow of hot water seems to be enough for showering. We have a 1200 sq ft 2nd home with 1 shower and more than likely not run washer and dishwasher at same time. Not sure on the light bill yet. We also put a filter system in because it was recomended with well water. Works great for our needs.

    I was surprised
I was actually shocked how good it works. Sure beats a 50 gallon tank sitting in my laundry room

Easy to install. Provides ample hotwater and does not use electircity all the time to keep your water hot in a tank.
This was my first tankless hotwater heater and found it easy to install. I have it set at 126 degrees so I can cut it back with cold water. I have a long run (53 ft) from one end of the house to the other so I purchase a second hotwater to eliminate the long wait for the hot water to reach the kitchen and guest bath. The thing to keep in mind is that it will put out 2.3 gal per min. If you are demanding more, the flow is cut back because it only has the set amount of 2.3 gal per min. If you are ... read more on a well, I would recommend some type of filter in your water line before it reaches your heater.

    Works better than advertised
I cannot say enough good things about this heater. The initial set ran about $400. For the additional breakers and wire to be run. Everybody from the plumber and contractor told me to not buy electric , saying that they do not work well, but after installing they were amazed how well it did just that. My savings with the electric bill has not been totaled as of yet, so I will only say that with the tank no being heated all the time I'm sure we will do fine there also. This truly is the best ... read more investment one can make to save space and money, as well as remove that constant threat of a massive water leak.

    Good buy saves space.
Pulling the wires was the hardest part but after that the rest was easy. Oh wait taking the old 80 gallon tank was the second hardest part since I didn't wait for it to cool to drain it. But wiring the tankless in and running the plumbing was easy. I did put in a way to clean it with two other valves and some T-Brass. All in all a two week job for me to do it all even with fixing the dry wall. I will warn others it takes some getting use to NOT mixing cold water in showers since we have it ... read more set to 110 in DFW Texas area. EXCELLET Output for 3 Baths + Dishwasher and Washer
After burning 3 TITANS (purchased locally in Miami) I decided to sunk my cost and go for the best out of the shelf in Home Depot. I had to re do the Water pipe intake and flow from 1/2 Inch to 3/4 to fit into this unit AND place a separate breaker box to load balance my home's 400 Amps into dedicating 125 Amps for this unit to work at max capacity when needed... also rewire 3 AWG instead of the previous 2 - so all in all I spent 2.5-3 X times more over the cost of the unit to make it work ... read more properly - BEST INVESTMENT EVER. There is no more light flickering when hot water is flowing and I can have multiple faucets/showers running without compromising water temperature.

    Compact, heats water quickly
I did the installation myself with average skill & tools. The required heavy gauge wires are expensive, so add that in to your total cost. Also, check to see how many (1-3) SEPARATE electrical circuits are required for the chosen heater. This one heats water quickly; the shower is 10ft away and it takes about 10 seconds for the hot water to start flowing. Have not tried multiple hot water devices (shower, dishwasher) at the same time.

    Hard to believe
I was cramped for space in my utility/laundry room. I removed my old gas hot water tank that was 15 years old and due for replacement. I had explored my options. Home Depot. com always had the answer and many choices. Easy install with the proper pex, and electrical tools (knowledge in these fields is a MUST). The Origin, Made in Germany says it all. They have been making energy saving products for nearly 90 years. Great Product!!!!

    Love this water heater!
I have always had a tank before this and I will never go back now. Never having to wait for the tank to fill back up to do laundry right after you took a shower and are still running the dishwasher is awesome. The install went pretty fast just make sure you have the right amount of power, and there is no tank to deal with. After seeing what came out of our tank I am also glad this will never have that. Also the size is perfect you should not need the size up from this since it can supply hot ... read more water for more than one use at a time and it DOES NOT RUN OUT! My favorite feature.

    Good whole house unit
This larger unit took the place of a point of use unit I mistakenly had put in, based on many positive reviews of people using it for the entire house. The smaller unit didn't deliver the hot water I was used to getting with two hot water tanks. I had it replaced and this unit professionally installed. The electrician and the contractor were impressed with this unit, and so was I when I got the hot water I have come to expect. The contractor was impressed that the unit is German-made, rated for ... read more a 2 bathroom home in a cooler climate, and designed for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. Love this water heater!
Purchased this unit to replace another tankless water heater and the Tempra 24 Plus is SO much better. Installation was easy and the flow control on this unit makes all the difference. We never have problems with running out of hot water even with the dish washer going, the kids in the tub and the Mrs. in the shower with 3 shower heads. You can't go wrong with this unit as we have had great success for the 1.5 years we have been using it.

    Great unit
Installation took a couple of hours, mainly for the electrician. Took some time to get the temperature adjusted correctly. Wait time for hot water about the same as a standard hot water heater. Did experience flow problem at first that caused the unit to cycle on and off. This caused the water to go hot to cold. Some how the flow meter in the unit did not sense the water flow correctly. This could be a potential problem if you use water saver shower heads, otherwise this unit has worked flawlessly.

    Simple install, works great, compact
There are differences with tank heaters, some of which I did not expect, such as the hot water seems to actually take longer to reach you. This is probably good for my electric bill since I am not paying to keep my un-insulated copper pipes warm 24/7. It appears to reduce flow rate to maintain output temp. My instinct was to just max the temp and mix with faucet, but I achieved improved performance by lowering it to 120 (max is 140), which allowed more flow on straight hot selection at faucet. ... read more In the shower, it seems there may be a feedback loop of some kind as my well pressure tank vs. cold/hot mix vs. stages in the heater vary. Sometimes it takes a while to dial in the temp in the shower... and then it drifts a bit. In my application, I needed to free up some space, was able to install the unit 4 feet from my breaker panel, had the experience/skill to do it all myself, and had an ancient tank heater, so it was perfect. I am totally happy with the choice.

    LOVE IT!!!
We had a bosh unit prior to this one, which was smaller. With this unit you can flush the toilet, or wash your hands while someone is in the shower without an issue. Our plumber recommended this unit - said this company has a great product and great customer service...he actually had the local reps number in his phone! We have saves some serious cash over the years with our other unit, so if you are debating on upgrading definitely do it!

    Fairly easy install
Was a decent install for a semi experienced person in electrical. I like the digital temp display and easy temp adjustment. So far only used for a month time will tell how well it works. Could use a list of size wire needed for the hook up I had to go online to see what size wire was needed. It does say size and how many breakers for the model.

    Excellent value
The water heater was easy to install. Having the necessary power available is important. The ability to heat the water sufficiently is predicated on the incoming water temperature. Be sure to check the heating chart prior to purchasing the unit. The unit has been in about a month and is installed in our Church. It is particularly beneficial because the water is only used a couple of days a week. In this case we look forward to even more energy savings than with a tank heater. The other ... read more beneficial part is that it only turns on the number of heaters necessary to actually heat the water. In the bathrooms the lavatories only need one of the three heaters to sufficiently heat the water. As expected the kitchen faucets require more. This ability also enhances energy savings.

    Very impressive
This is a very impressive little unit. This was the only demand heater I could find that wouldn't pop the circuit breaker on the 30-amp circuit that I was forced to work with. That really was the selling point for me-- that I could replace a standing tank-type hot water heater with a little on-demand heater. While that can't usually be successfully accomplished because a 30-amp on-demand unit doesn't heat the water enough. But here in Hawaii our cold supply water is already close to 70 degrees ... read more F, so the 45°F rise at 1 gpm is enough for our kitchen sink. I rated the quality as "average" because I have no information that it is better or worse than what might be considered "standard", which is also undefined. But it worked perfectly as soon as I connected it.
