    Quiet operation
I use this hot water heater to supply the sink in my back bathroom and to fill my whirlpool tub. The tub would empty my regular water heater. It took a little fiddling with the flow rate to get the temperature I wanted but once that was done it worked slowly but well. I would probably have been happer with a higher capacity one of the same type but I did not have room in my electrical box for the third 220 circuit.

I have looked for these at an affordable price for 0ver three years.
I was unable to find anyone that knew anything about this type of water heater until I went to the Home Depot store in Lee's Summit MO. The staff there are knowledgeable, and took the time to help me find the size that would best suit my needs. I had been using Lowes for all my building needs, but now use Home Depot. The product itself is of excellent quality, and I expect many years of hot water for much less that any conventional water heater could give.

Works great and easy replacement for old water heater.
Easy to install and great replacement for old water heater for kitchen/utility room area of my house. Provides hot water at the set temp. I like that you can replace the heating elements that can be found at local stores. Looks easy to troubleshoot if any problems occur. Eco-Smart web site has all replacement parts for reasonable prices. Also, I believe of all the other brands that I looked at before purchasing this one, this is the only brand that adjusts how many heating elements come on by ... read more how much water flow thus saving power consumption. Great unit
Installation took a couple of hours, mainly for the electrician. Took some time to get the temperature adjusted correctly. Wait time for hot water about the same as a standard hot water heater. Did experience flow problem at first that caused the unit to cycle on and off. This caused the water to go hot to cold. Some how the flow meter in the unit did not sense the water flow correctly. This could be a potential problem if you use water saver shower heads, otherwise this unit has worked flawlessly.

    Simple install, works great, compact
There are differences with tank heaters, some of which I did not expect, such as the hot water seems to actually take longer to reach you. This is probably good for my electric bill since I am not paying to keep my un-insulated copper pipes warm 24/7. It appears to reduce flow rate to maintain output temp. My instinct was to just max the temp and mix with faucet, but I achieved improved performance by lowering it to 120 (max is 140), which allowed more flow on straight hot selection at faucet. ... read more In the shower, it seems there may be a feedback loop of some kind as my well pressure tank vs. cold/hot mix vs. stages in the heater vary. Sometimes it takes a while to dial in the temp in the shower... and then it drifts a bit. In my application, I needed to free up some space, was able to install the unit 4 feet from my breaker panel, had the experience/skill to do it all myself, and had an ancient tank heater, so it was perfect. I am totally happy with the choice.

I recommend this product over all other instant w/heaters
I have had the tempra 29 installed in my home for over 5 years now. All though i am not convinced that it is as efficient as they claim. i have over seen several alternative brands in homes that i have constructed from gas to electric installations and chose this particular brand and size for my own personal home and have been overall pleased with my decision. Your flows are limited when using these type heaters which means slower fill times. do the math. 30 minutes to fill a bath tub @ 14.4KW = ... read more 5,256Kw a year for each person in you home that baths daily. Thats more than a 50 gal tank heater uses each year. So my suggestion is to not install to save money but for convenience only. Great for a small house.
Took out my 30 gallon tank and put this in our small house. 1 bath 2 bedrooms . Had to run new wiring. 6 gauge wire with a 50 amp breaker. Works great! We never run out of hot water .

    Good whole house unit
This larger unit took the place of a point of use unit I mistakenly had put in, based on many positive reviews of people using it for the entire house. The smaller unit didn't deliver the hot water I was used to getting with two hot water tanks. I had it replaced and this unit professionally installed. The electrician and the contractor were impressed with this unit, and so was I when I got the hot water I have come to expect. The contractor was impressed that the unit is German-made, rated for ... read more a 2 bathroom home in a cooler climate, and designed for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. Love this water heater!
Purchased this unit to replace another tankless water heater and the Tempra 24 Plus is SO much better. Installation was easy and the flow control on this unit makes all the difference. We never have problems with running out of hot water even with the dish washer going, the kids in the tub and the Mrs. in the shower with 3 shower heads. You can't go wrong with this unit as we have had great success for the 1.5 years we have been using it.

    Very pleased
Although this product seems a little pricey, it exceeds the performance of our last whole house tankless heater. We have not had it long enough to comment on cost effectiveness, but we have used a whole house tankless heater for 13 yrs. with considerable savings. Delivery was prompt. Installation was not difficult considering we did it ourselves. A very quiet unit that provides hot water to several areas simultaneously without heavy fluctuation. Overall, love this product.

    Easy to use and install!
The hardest thing about installing this product was figuring where I wanted to mount it. It was easy to install and even easier to set up. I ran 4 sinks, 2 tub/showers and a washing machine simultaneously and it kept up.

    Happy user
Had ours for about a year now. Installation was not that difficult. However, did call in an electrician to complete the installation. Make sure you check to see if you have room in your circuit box for the three 50 amp breaks it needs. Had to move one of my breaks to keep these in line together. Unit works as advertised . There is plenty of hot water through out the house. We have our own well with a storage tank. Because of the storage tank the water in the winter is much colder. Still have plenty of hot water, but can only run one shower at a time in the winter. With that said this still is an excellent product. Nice to gain the space in garage used by the old hot water tank. Don't expect a big savings on your electric bill. It took a couple of months to see the difference.

I have three bathroom and the system is working great. I would recommend. The electric installation is the only issue that I had, you have to hire a electrician to get the new breakers installed.

    Easy to install
Started it up today. Very easy to install. The plumbing connections were easy. An electrician did the required upgrades for the power (from the lesser requirements for the tank heater we had). Easy to use and set.

    Compact, heats water quickly
I did the installation myself with average skill & tools. The required heavy gauge wires are expensive, so add that in to your total cost. Also, check to see how many (1-3) SEPARATE electrical circuits are required for the chosen heater. This one heats water quickly; the shower is 10ft away and it takes about 10 seconds for the hot water to start flowing. Have not tried multiple hot water devices (shower, dishwasher) at the same time.

Tankless water heater is the way to go
We replaced or old water heater with this tankless unit. My husband did the install after getting required breaker and wire from homedepot. We are extremely pleased with the results. We are actually using it as a whole house water heater. And no issues thus far. You can shower and use dish washer at the same time. We live in a 3 br 2 bath mobile home and like I said it is big enough to support our hot water usage. Great investment .

    Works great
This unit supplies my studio cottage in Bellingham, Washington with all the hot water it needs. There is a bathroom with a shower, a small washing machine and a kitchen sink in the cottage. It took my handyman all day to install, what with the plumbing modifications and needing to add the new circuit breaker (had to go get a double pole 60 amp.; thought that a double 30 would be OK but not...), and I wound up needing to get a second unit because the thermostat fell into the housing and shorted ... read more the thing out shortly after install, but it's been over a month now and all is fine.

    Perfect garage solution
Under $200, don't need to keep water hot in a tank, fits snugly next to my garage 3rd stall sink, might cost $1 in electricity to produce hot water for an hour so it probably will cost less than $1/month to run, what's not to like? The only hitch I had was that the ferrule on the inlet side leaked a little, wouldn't stop even with more tightening than I like. I bought new ferrules for both the heater inlet and the compression ball valve that fed it, changed them out, leak stopped, problem solved ... read more for about $2.50.

EXCELLET Output for 3 Baths + Dishwasher and Washer
After burning 3 TITANS (purchased locally in Miami) I decided to sunk my cost and go for the best out of the shelf in Home Depot. I had to re do the Water pipe intake and flow from 1/2 Inch to 3/4 to fit into this unit AND place a separate breaker box to load balance my home's 400 Amps into dedicating 125 Amps for this unit to work at max capacity when needed... also rewire 3 AWG instead of the previous 2 - so all in all I spent 2.5-3 X times more over the cost of the unit to make it work ... read more properly - BEST INVESTMENT EVER. There is no more light flickering when hot water is flowing and I can have multiple faucets/showers running without compromising water temperature.

    Nice unit
Pretty basic install for average DIY person. Unit works well so far after 2 months in service for a family of 5. Only complaint is with the warranty . Touted as having a lifetime warranty on all parts. But thats after you have sent warranty card in within 30 days of purchase. Documenting the licensed plumber & electrician that installed it! Having licensed pros do the install would have added way to much to the cost, and really isnt necessary! So hopefully I dont need parts for a long time.

    Good buy saves space.
Pulling the wires was the hardest part but after that the rest was easy. Oh wait taking the old 80 gallon tank was the second hardest part since I didn't wait for it to cool to drain it. But wiring the tankless in and running the plumbing was easy. I did put in a way to clean it with two other valves and some T-Brass. All in all a two week job for me to do it all even with fixing the dry wall. I will warn others it takes some getting use to NOT mixing cold water in showers since we have it ... read more set to 110 in DFW Texas area.
