    nice hand saw
bought this alone with a dremel saw for trim this saw got the job done

easy to use, has a niche all its own
When I originally ordered this, I thought it was a different kind of a saw. Instead I received this and am much happier with it. The best thing about this saw is it is very flexible and it will saw flush, and since I received it, I have found uses in my house for it. It saws fast and well. Just like most saws like this, it cuts on the pull, it says on the push and pull, but I found it tons more efficient on the pull. I think you will like this if you need a sharp, flexible blade. it works great ... read more on quarter round!!! Another thing, don't throw away the container it comes in, it is a great storage holder for the sharp, flexible blade!

    Good tool
This tool has very specific applications, but when you need it you really need it. Smooth cuts up close and smooth.

    Easy to use
I used this with my 7-yo to make a model car. It was easy to handle, cut efficiently, cut the basic car shape out nicely.

    Haven't used it yet
I picked these up since I couldn't find my scroll saw blades. I needed these to work on my son's pinewood derby car. I did not need to use these but now I have a coping saw and blades for the next project.

    great item, great price
A great quality product that actually performs as required. Easy to use, store with simple upkeep. A required tool for the do-it-yourselfer or an accomplished tradesman. Always remember the right tool for the job yields a better result, and of course a little help from Home Depots experts. As always shop with best, Home Depot, and forget the rest.

    Small hacksaw
Bought this for a specific job where a smaller hacksaw was needed. It worked and was inexpensive but not cheaply made.

    Great little saw
I bought this saw to cut the bolts holding down a toilet I recently purchased from HD. It was easy to work with in the tight space and did a great job cutting through the bolts in no time.

I couldn't remove the old kitchen faucet without this saw!

Works fine, but has 2 weaknesses.
1] The shank of the saw blade has a hole drilled through it, the hole is located a fraction of an inch away from the handle. In the event that there is any lateral force on the blade, this hole makes a very weak location right where strength is needed. The hole is filled with a plastic push fastener when you buy the saw. I can't see any reason for the hole, never mind the reason for the plastic push fastener. I've owned the same model saw for over a decade, these blades do bend exactly where the ... read more hole is drilled. 2] The handle is not very broad. The action of 'jabbing' is not the most common way the saw is pushed through the plasterboard. The most common method for using this saw is to place the point onto the penetration location on the plasterboard, holding the saw handle with one hand and then you smack your remaining palm onto the butt of the handle to generate the necessary force for penetrating the plasterboard (or you use a hammer or mallet). Try simply jabbing 5/8" fire code plasterboard fastened overhead, you will quickly figure out how to use the a method other than straight jabbing into plasterboard. Therefore, this saw has a 'well less than perfect' design. To its' credit, the blade is thick, but the hole simply defeats the benefits of the blade thickness.

I am very impressed with this little saw!
Very sharp and cuts through wood and drywall like nothing. I bought it to do some work in our family room and eventually garage. I removed drywall to run wiring, added outlets for electric and data ports. I picked this little wall board saw at Home Depot and am truly impreressed with its performance. The blade is rigid enough that you can punch it through the drywall without having to drill a starter hole first and the teeth are very sharp. I am very impressed with this little saw!

    durable/works.
I have used these before and since they have a wooden handle, you can tap them with a hammer to cut through plaster to cut in electrical boxes. Of course, plaster will dull the teeth much faster than drywall, but so be it. Also, I use this for a purpose not designed. I fish wires over suspended ceilings, so I slide this into the end of a 3/4" pvc conduit and tape it to secure it. The 'knob' shape hops over ceiling grids so I can quickly pull wires over the ceiling, 10' at a time.

Does the job in a pinch
I got this because o wasn't willing to invest in a circular saw right now. It handled what I needed to do and at least one other job. It does require MANual power. So, you get your workout as well.

Well thought out and quality tool
I used to work professionally as a rocker and taper, but do it today only for personal needs. With some lightning damage we recently sustained, I have more personal need than desired. This tool is well thought out. I like the way it combines two tools you tend to need if you want neat work. The jab "saw" to cut openings or unique cuts and the rasp to smooth down the rough edges. You can also use it for those rare times you have a close fit of two sheets/pieces and need to take off a "bit more" ... read more from one or the other. Today I have a saw and a light weight "plane type" rasp for sheetrock. TWO TOOLS.. I especially like the rasp as a "blade" in this design as it will let you do some work in tight spots where one could not get to with a Plane Type rasp. Mostly, one can appreciate this tool when cutting electrical outlet wholes. BOTH the saw and rasp will be used to get tight outlet openings. :>) The only thing cleaner is a router (or similar) with a box blade, but this is not always practical for small jobs and an expensive tool for this purpose if you don't own a router or similar..

    Great Build and Feel
Leave it to Dewalt to build a better jab saw. This tool is rugged, yet light and very solid feeling. The "switch blade" type action for opening and closing the saw blade and file tool is a little weird at first but once you understand it, there's no problem. The grip on this thing is hard plastic and the black part is softer and rubbery feeling for a really nice hand feel. I'm sure this will be the last jab saw I ever need.

    Product has great features
Folding jab saw is compact, easy to use, sturdy and light weight. You couldn't ask for a better tool when your dry walling. Very comfortable to handle and does multiple functions needed to do your project. It has 2 in 1 feature folding jab saw and rasp . DeWalt brand never let's me down . Anyone that tries it will love it .Plus it has a Lifetime warranty .It' s the best.

    Gets the job done
I have two oak trees in my front yard that have low hanging branches. I decided to try out this saw on some of them to see how well it worked. To my surprise, it was able to cut both branches with ease.

Eco Hurricane 15" Handsaw with Bamboo Handle
I am really pleased with the Eco Hurricane Handsaw. It is lightweight but very efficient. I expect to get many years of service from this great little saw. It is extremely well made and the bamboo handle is very easy on the hands. I do recommend it.
