Good blade for the price , Nice clean cut

Will never use a different blade
I used this on my DeWalt 12" miter saw. The original blade was good for rough cuts, so I purchased the DeWalt fine cut blade when I purchased the saw. It cut ok, but would still splinter some finer woods. I purchased this blade for my last project. Best blade I have ever used. Well worth the money. I switch back to the old blades when working with rough lumber, but when it comes to fine finishing, this is my go to blade.

    ultra thin kerf
I had gone to using 7 1/4" blades to get thin kerf now the 10" blade actually produces a thinner kerf than my 7 1/4". The quality of the cut is really great the only thing that gives me a smoother cut is Festool and they are pricey.

90 Tooth finish saw works extremely well
Clean cuts with 10" Makita miter saw on VG fir for window, baseboard and door trim

Best blade for smooth cabinet quality cuts
I make a great deal of my own furniture, do trim and cabinet work. I have never been disappointed with this 90 tooth blade and use it extensively for all my fine cuts. This is the third such blade I've purchased in the last 8 years That's pretty good for blades that get used on reclaimed lumber and need to deal with an occasional nail. The fine cut substantially reduces finish sanding and is always ready to accept biscuits and glue when I need to join sections.

    Excellent flooring blade
Diablo’s 12 in. 16 TPI PCD tipped Pergo Blade is specifically designed for cutting laminate flooring in a 12 inch miter/chop saw. The manufacturer claims that it will deliver many more times the cutting performance compared to a carbide-tipped saw blade. It is ideal for cutting various types of flooring such as Pergo, laminate, hardwood, engineered hardwood and bamboo. It comes with a high price, but if it lives up to the claims of long life; it will be economical in the long run. It cuts ... read more laminate flooring like it was "butter". It seems to work well as a general purpose blade also, but I only briefing used it for this purpose. I recently finished my 15’ x 20’ master bedroom with 4 inch bamboo flooring, and the cuts were as clean at the beginning of the job as at the end of it.

    Excellent Blade
This is an excellent blade that produces the smoothest cut on hardwood that I have ever seen. It is worth the price. I used this blade to install 600 feet of hickory 3/4' hardwood and from the first to last cuts each were smooth and perfect. Great product.

beats a 90 tooth for laminate
I sure wish this blade had been available when I installed 3000 ft. of laminate in my house. I burned up several 90 tooth expensive blades needlessly, but that's what was recommended at the time. This 16 tooth 12 in. blade lasts very good on hard laminate. Flooring has a super hard carbide particle mixture in its outermost surface to resist wear. It kills even the best carbide tipped blades quickly. This newly designed Diablo blade has a special carbide formula and kerf angle on the teeth to ... read more last longer. having 16 teeth is 5x cheaper too. You can reserve that 90 tooth fine cut for that oak and maple and other hardwood trim. This economy blade does good on rough 2x lumber too.

    cuts up a storm
This is a tough, stay sharp miter saw blade. Comparing this 84 tooth to a 100 tooth cutting laminate flooring the much less costly 84 tooth lasted significantly longer. And this blade cuts PVC much better.

    Cuts acrylic tubing
I bought this blade to cut a piece of 6" acrylic tubing The design of the carbide really made a difference in the cutting, "very smooth". It cut it with no problem no chips and no burn marks.

Cuts composite material and wood both well.
I used the blade to cut the composite material of my outdoor kitchen cabinets. They are built from marine-grade polymer. It cut through with ease. I tried it on wood and found the same result. The blade is recommended for composite decking and cellular PVC but I would recommend it for wood also.

    The perfect blade
I use this mainly for 1" aluminum, but cuts wood and steel no problem. I have made thousands of cuts for aluminum and I would say a couple thousand more to go! Cuts through aluminum like butter, with a perfect smooth edge.

Still using the one that came with the saw.
I don't do a lot of cutting but when I do, I love the results that this blade gives. Smooth, no heat, it sure beats the old abrasive saw I had, which used to want to walk sideways and leave unsquare cuts, plus you had to leave the piece cool down before you touched it, but not with this blade, it gets warm, but it won't burn you.

    Great quality blade
This blade does exactly what its suppose to do. Just don't try cutting hardened steel or stainless cause now I have to buy another one. I cut mostly 4" to 2" square steel with 3/16" wall and a lot of it with no problems. Aluminum is like cutting butter. Overall great blade just wish price was a little better.

    Nice clean cuts
Provides a nice clean cut on plywood. I also used it on plastic coated board (the material used for dry erase boards) and produced nice, chip free cuts with the use of a little painters tape over the cut line. Regular blades chip this type of material even when taped over the cut line. I have also used it to cut a few 2x4 studs and 1x boards when I was too lazy to change the blade. Its a little slow on those cuts, but does a perfectly fine job.

    Sharp Blade
Bought this blade to use in my battery powered circular saw to cut 1/4 inch plywood. It did a great job without splintering the plywood. I also used it to cut pegboard and again it did the job.

This blade makes a very fine cut.
This blade has a real smooth cut. I bought this blade to cut some plexiglass (Lexon) & it really did a great job, without splintering.

    Glass-Like Cuts!
This 100T finish quality miter saw blade with its 1" arbor works great with my 12" Hitachi miter saw. I tested it out on both hardwood (walnut) and softwood (pine). The resulting cut on each of them was super smooth. I'd say it would take at least 220 grit sanding to get lumber to a similar level of smoothness left by this blade. The pine had 2-3 spots with splinter-sized tear-out, but that was it. The walnut had absolutely zero tear-out. Obviously it will be a little slower going than a 24T ... read more framing blade, but it still offers decent cut speeds, and the cut quality is definitely worth the extra time. The only downside I can think of is that the first few cuts get a bit of the Makita teal color on them, but this has happened with about every brand of saw blade I've ever used.

    Very Sharp!
Just started using this blade so it is still very sharp. Am in the middle of a project using cedar and this is performing very well! I have always been impressed with Makita blades and I'm sure this one won't disappoint either.

Great blade and worth the extra $$$
This blade performs very well and gets the job done! Makes cutting easy and quick and this helps when don't have a lot of time, and don't want to make mistakes. I would buy this brand again if needed.

    Decent all around blade.
I’ve used one of these blades on my miter saw for about five years now without any issues. I own a 9” table saw and its getting harder and harder to find blades. I picked up another 8-1/2 IN. X 60 TOOTH CARBIDE CIRCULAR SAW BLADE for use on my table saw. So far it performs well with soft and hard woods. It excels at cutting plywood. The only issue I've found is the blade is thin kerf which throws off the measurements on my saws’ fence slightly.
