Exactly what I expected. Fast shipping. It was cheaper than most places I checked.

RA friendly, Smooth for sinking a screw in wood near fragile crystal.
Out of the Box, the Impact Tool, pictured with no battery. I also ordered a Battery Kit. The decision to receive this is one of the best I've made. I took wood screws out of a patio tent I slept in while I sprayed inside for bugs. I turned 3 inch wood screws into patio rafters with arthritic hands. That caused my joints to swell and a few days of Rheumatoid Arthritis inflammation, that brings on RA fevers. The right tools are important for someone with my energy and will to be a DIYer. I ... read more learned the Impact Driver uses perpendicular pressure and twists a screw from reading other people's reviews online. The internet lets you learn what not to do with an impact driver from others and the information about this 18V Brushless Driver comes in two forms video and written. I was curious to test the Driver in small spaces or where I might be drilling near fragile items. It isn't a bull in a china shop! I sunk a 3 inch wood screw into a piece of plywood while I had one hand on the Driver and the other on a camera, it was next to a tray of Crystal wine glasses. The glasses didn't move, smooth drilling. I can't change the quality of my video, I've no lcd screen, but you can see the glasses didn't slide on the silver tray. Cool. This does not have a place to store bits but someone wrote that Milwaukee makes a bit storage container that can be purchased as an add on.

    Brushless Impact Driver
This was my first brushless tool and seems to have the same performance as the regular tools. The ergonomics of the tool were excellent and have had no problems with the performance.

Excellent tool for small projects/DIY home owner!
Great for the price! Excellent addition to other line of M12 tools that are sufficient for home projects. Battery life is good enough for home projects.

PERFECT DRILL FOR THE TOOL BELT
I work as a commercial roofer. Tool belt space/weight is an important factor. You can also find yourself being a contortionist ninja 60 feet above the ground. This drill has been perfect. I use a taller electrician style pocket on one side of my belt and this drill has never budged. Easy to change bits and excellent battery life. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quality portable drill.

    Great but not perfect
This is an excellent little jigsaw. For small projects it works great not having a cord. Missing a few features like some other jigsaws have. Wish it had settings for different types of materials or uses. Battery life takes a hit pretty fast as you might expect from smaller batteries. I also miss the dust blowout feature of other jigsaws. Overall this is great if you already own tools in the m12 line and don't want another type of battery to keep charged.

    M18 FUEL™ 1/4" Hex Impact Driver
I use this drill in all aspects of my work as a cabinet maker, as well as contractor-- Dewalt drill do not compare in any facet, I highly recommend this product. I would like to purchase a milwaukee battery reciprocating saw- as Dewalt does not compare at all 1 aspect of this product you could improve upon, is the design of the charging unit, the fins that cool the charger are supceptible to environment ie; sawdust, rain, ect gets into the elctrical components. Take note of the Hitachi charger ... read more unit is sealed therefore extending the life of the unit by reducing damaging enviromental factors.

    Awesome Tool!
This thing is amazing! I bought it to drive purlin screws and WOW this thing can drive a screw! The first time I hit the trigger my Dad said "holy cow!". Then a buddy of mine came over to help and he ended up using it and after the first pull of the trigger he said "holy cow!" too! They are both Carpenters by trade and have other brands so impacts on a regular basis. We drove screws all day and the Fuel driver just kept driving whereas the other brand driver we were using went though 2 batteries ... read more driving the same number and type of screws. All in all a great buy. Just be careful you don't bump the mode button as it will go from max power to the low setting and act as if the battery is going dead. This only happened once and we were hooking it to steel trusses as we set the purlins so it could have been bumped when hooking it the a truss. Having said that the 3 mode drive is a very nice feature. I think mode 2 will work perfect to drive the screws for metal siding.

    Works Great!!
While I only bought this a couple of weeks ago i can honestly say that this impact drill works great, I have used it as a regular driver and it is deffinitly very precise, it also comes in handy when securing heavy equipment in tight spaces where the light compact size has been a life saver

    GREAT PRODUCT
UNBELIEVABLE BATTERY LIFE LASTS FOR DAYS OF HARD USE...POWERFUL AND A JOY TO USE MAKES MY DRILL/DRIVERS SEEM LIKE JUNK... SUPER POWERFUL EVEN ON LAG BOLTS . ON THE PRICEY SIDE BUT IT WORKS SO DARN WELL!!!!!!

The best impact on the market.
This is the most powerful and versatile impact drill available. The 3 speeds allow you to do delicate work or loosen lug nuts. Well worth the money. If and when mine wears out, I will be purchasing the same drill again. Do Not Purchase Any Other Impact!

    Upgrade from 1st gen Makita
Bought this because I finally wore out my old Makita Impact. Seems like a decent enough drill. Haven't used it a whole lot but like it so far. Very compact. Little pricey but I had a bunch of gift cards, so it didn't cost me much out of pocket. Don.t know if I would have bought it otherwise. Spent 2 1/2 days hanging kitchen cabinets & still on same battery. Gotta love that.

Great tool at a great price
The new style batteries on these tools are a cut above. Short term charging, long term use. Plenty of torque with a light. This tool has it all.

    Good product
This is my first impact tool. Wish I had purchased it years ago. The warranty was an important factor in my purchase.

    Great Impact tool
Powerfull 1/4" Impact driver. Plenty of power if you're driving hex head srews or bolts. If your driving Phillips or slotted scews be sure to push the driver hard into that screw head (Lots of power - almost too much torgue for a Phillips' or Slotted screw head - not a Bad thing!

Great little driver with no compromise on power
small, lightweight and compact. compared to the craftsman c3 impact driver which is heavier and less compact .and is harder to move and get around when doing suspension work on a car. the milwaukee is small enough to squeeze through tight areas of a vehicle. lightweight means less fatigue during a job compared to the c3, This milwaukee is smaller but much more powerful. the only cons I can think of is that the driver has only one LED compared to others that have a 3 ring LED's to ... read more lessens shadows, and no speed settings like the aforementioned driver. I also like the belt clip and the length of warranty on the tool and the battery.

tool good; warranty is a pain
The impact driver is a decent tool, probably wouldn't hold up under commercial use though. The Rigid warranty policy is the pain. Eventually they replace broken tools but make it a real pain to do so. It's so bad most local repair centers refuse to handle Rigid any longer. It's now fallen back to Home Depots that have a tool rental center to handle repairs. Re-registering "lifetime batteries" is the real pain. One would think that having a covered battery replaced at an authorized repair center ... read more would be enough but one has to send letters to a service center and wait until they finally decide to re-register the replacement. It's like they want you to give up and there by void the lifetime replacement policy. Really a policy that reflects Rigid's opinion of their customers. I'm still waiting for the notification on an older battery I replaced and re-registered a month ago.

    Good product
Lifetime warranty including batteries makes this a great value but remember to get your warranty registration in before it expires. Also, although the Rigid brochure says that all kits come with a carry case, this kit does not.

    Great Tool
ALWAY BOUGHT MAKITA nut heard good things about Ridgid and their guarantee. After using the product for the past month I a very pleased with my choice, easy to use and great power. Will be getting more of their tools

    Fantastic driver
I purchased this driver prior to building a stud wall in my garage. the power and size of this unit is perfect. Its light and easy to carry all day but can easily bury screws in wood. It is especially good at getting stubborn old screws out. Battery life and charge time are good and the light is actually a handy feature thought I thought it was dumb at first. Great product like all Milwaukee tools I've owned. Highly recommended.

    Great product
I am a professional mechanic and I use this every day for work. The batteries last longer then I expected and it has more then enough power to get the job done with the 3/8 adapter. I use this instead of my air powered impact and wouldn't trade it for anything. I replaced a Makita 9.6 volt impact with this one and am a Milwaukee man now, I bought another one for at home and gave my old makita to a friend who wanted something similar. Thanks for making such a great product with a warranty that ... read more exceeds everyone elses.

    Love it!
One of the best tools I've purchased. I use it for everything. I have the Milwaukee M18 hammer drill, the M12 drill/driver, but I'm now using this for just about everything. I love that the LED stays on for another 10 seconds when you've released the trigger. Its a big help in low light. The low profile batteries are light in weight and last a reasonable amount of time. They also charge very fast so a fresh battery is never a problem. Very happy with this tool.
