    Awesome Saw
Perfect saw from the first time I took it out of the shipping box. Smooth and quiet operation.

    Bosch 10" saw -no stand
I'm a non-professional woodworker, although I have to say that this Bosch table was a great choice after being stuck with a regular duty Delta table saw for 10 years of inaccuracy. This machine is on the mark every times so far, it stays set square and accurate . I developed several blade inserts (finewoodworking)for dado cutting to keep cuts clean. However, the dust doesn't just shoot through to the rear bag(my own), I have added a large adapter plus Pvc and elbow, but still alot of dust just ... read more doesn't bag out the back, it just clogs and flys around some goes down into a vertical bag.Note. wear a safety gear.

    Good saw!
Had my last one for 15 years using almost daily. So when it came time to replace, I bought the same. Wish it worked with old stand but other than that it's pre much the exact saw.

    Good with one caution
Assembly was super simple. The only surprise was that the saw can only cut 1.75" boards. This means it can cut a 2X4, but just barely. So, when I'm using it for the purpose I purchased it, I'm pushing the saw to it's fullest capacity. Also, given the height of the saw, it's a bit tough to cut the longer boards (8' - 10'). It can be done, it's just a little more challenging than I'd hoped. One good surprise was that it does come with four blades...one each for metal, rough wood, fine wood ... read more and...hmmm, maybe it's 3 blades or maybe I'm forgetting one type of blade. Sorry, not looking at the saw right now. Overall, I do really like the saw and am happy to have purchased it. I do recommend it for others.

    Great household saw!!
This is an excellent alternative to the more expensive "contractor grade" equipment for home use. Handles most all of my home projects easily. The blades change fast and the accessories make for precise cuts. I strongly recommend you purchase the accessory package when buying this saw. I just makes all your work easier.

    Great help
I bought mine a month ago. I had installed laminate floor in my living room using a regular jig saw and it took a while. With the blade runner I did my 3 bedroom a lot faster with better cuts. I just had trouble cutting the laminate the long way. I couldn't get a straight cut so I had to improvise. Also the vacuum hose kept coming off so I put some painter tape. Great tool to install laminate flooring.

    Good Christmas Present
The saw was not that difficult to assemble. However, one item was not threaded correctly and I had to call and request a replacement. Have not received the item and it has been three weeks. If it takes much longer will have to downgrade the rating to average or fair.

    Great table saw
I have used other table saws but this was the First one I own. By far the best one I have used. It bigger then most job site table saws, but for me I like it. No problems with performance.

    Easy to use saw.
I've only had a couple weeks now so I don't know if it's long lasting. The saw was easy to assemble and the instructions were clear. The motor housing is plastic, the blade housing and folding frame are steel, and the table is Aluminum. It seems sturdy enough for most jobs but the table top itself is not very flat. Steel would have been better here, but that would have defeated the idea of portability. The table top extensions are very handy. The miter gauge is cheap and was very hard to get it ... read more square, and keep it square. So nice adjustment screws to ensure the blade is at 90 and 45 degrees, but it could use a better method of truing the blade to the table guides. Overall, the saw meets my needs, but compared to comparable saws, it was probably overpriced.

    1st table saw purchase
I searched for weeks to find an affordable table saw. I had it shipped to the nearest store to avoid shipping charges. It arrived earlier than the estimate. I saw with most saws that come with stands that it is hard to understand the directions and assemble. My 12 yr old and I put it together in an hour or so. we took our time doing it. There was one part that wasn't even in the assembly instructions (extendable piece that goes on the back side of the table). Once I figured out what it was it ... read more wasn't hard to install. I plan on buying a better blade than the one that comes with it however, the cuts I have done so far have been nice so I don't have to rush out and get one. Overall it looks good. Is quitter than the saw my father used back in the day and is easily wheeled around. I like it a lot.

    Worth a look
There is not a lot written on this saw, so I'll try to be relevant. FIRST, ... this product is not available in Home Dept stores, it's available online only; so you cannot view it in person ! I looked at a lot of popular saws at all the big box stores in my area and read the reviews onlinebefore just taking the plunge and ordering the "WEN" #3720 JOBSITE Saw , so that I could examine it and compare to the others. I just couldn't find enough info online. "WEN" is not a common brand in my ... read more area, however; I had previous experience with a "WEN" bench mounted spindle sander, This made the decision easier. The whole online ordering process throughout FREE delivery to the store was a simple and pleasant experience with detailed and accurate shipment tracking. If you've never ordered from homedepot.com previously, give it a try; you'll be in for a surprise. Truthfully, I could have purchased this a couple bucks cheaper at a popular Dept. store, BUT ..... Home Depot allows a 90 day return policy on this product if you're not entirely satisfied with it. This gets extended to a one year return for store credit IF you charge the product on your "Home Depot" charge card. I'll be giving this one a real workout. I was also able to take advantage of extended financing on orders of $ 299.00 or more by utilizing my "Home Depot" charge card as well. PROS: * Good power * Accepts a 13/16" Dado stack [ unlike most others in this price point ] * Includes an extra Dado throat plate. [ a $ 40 - 50.oo value ] * Decent power switch ergonomically located * 10 foot power cord with onboard storage * Cast metal Miter Gauge with standard 3/4" x 3/8" tongue guide and preset stops for common angles * Cast metal head on an adjustable fence * Reliable Aluminum fence is secure and adjustable * Pinnion adjustable blade height by hand wheel * Pinnion adjustable blade angle by hand wheel * Sturdy rolling stand * All fasteners are Nyloc , Allen, truss head, painted black * Rugged sealed ball bearing 8" plastic wheels with rubberized tires * Adjustable levelers on feet have wing nuts for adjusting and locking. N0 tools needed. * Right hand table extension rides on Nylon rollers for smooth operation [ after some spray silicon ] * Left side handle doubles as a work support * Front Pencil rail * Onboard blade storage * Includes 2 wrenches for blade changing (onboard) * Includes assembly tools * Instructions are adequette * Two year Warranty * Improved lock on table extension does not protrude handle upward above the table as the "RGD" and other saws do. CONS: * Packaging could be better * Plasic lock handles could be beefier * Onboard storage could be better thought out * Onboard storage could be more secure * Onboard storage is not user friendly or immediatly logically obvious. * Hand wheels slightly undersized * Rear extension includes a cheap stamped sheet metal component, that could easily be improved * The only change I'd make is one full length axel shaft rather than 2 welded axel stubs. This saw is obviously a copy, however; not an exact clone of the popular "oRanGe branD". Home Depot sells It's geared more toward the DIY/consumer than the PRO/contractor Overall, I'm impressed with this table saw and cart. It's lightweight @ 79 pounds, ( approximately 20# lighter than comparable models ) and portable . It raises, lowers and stores neatly. The latch is simple to operate. Out of the box the blade was square to the slots as was the fence. They only feature that it didn't have off my wish list was a double front/rearfence locks. I can live with that for the adequette dado capacity needed for making finger joints on bee hives. I don't know if the tires are 40,000 mile,All Season, " S" speed rated radials or not, however; the bearings are similar to what you'd expect on a premium lawn mower. The plastic wheels are heavy duty, and good looking. They're NOT the cheap BBQ grill looking wheels as they appear in the photos. This saw is loaded with desirable features too numerous to list. As far as assemly is concerned: There are only 4 major frame compnents not counting the two short handle stubs, wheels and fasteners A) The top left side handle B). The center linkage C). The right hand wheel frame D). The left side leg frame with adjustable levelers The last two, " C" &"D"; are already assembled together for you into an X shape Just fasten "A" & "B" to "C" & "D" ... ! HINT: The 2 welded lugs position on top of the frame, not underneath. Then, 4 bolts hold the plastic saw body to the steel cart and wheels are retained with 8mm x 1.25 Nyloc nuts and covered with snap in plastic caps. I added two 1/2" washers to each wheel, one between the frame & back of the bearing and another between the front of the bearing and lock nut.

    GOOD SAW AFTER SOME ADJUSTMENTS
The factory settings and instructions booklet were horrible. After resting all the factories settings I like the saw. It will take up to a 13/16" dado blade and comes with a dado throat plate. it has a nice sefe aligning fence and is very portable.

    A very fine table saw
I looked for the right table saw for a few years, as I quietly saved up HD gift cards through a couple of rounds of Birthdays/Xmas'/etc... If you have every family member give you a card to the same place for each holiday, you can end up with a very fine tool, at no cost to yourself! I was poised to purchase the Steel City Granite topped 10" saw, as I live in an area that is more humid than not. Then these new Delta's popped up, and were being offered at a very nice introductory sale ... read more price... It was just too good to pass up, and I'm glad I didn't! I've since set up the saw, and really could not be happier with it. It is quiet, smooth, accurate, and very finely manufactured. I have yet to truly fine tune it for furniture making, but it was ready to go out of the box for high quality general carpentry. Oh, and the nickel on it's side video... that's a thing, and it is awesome! My only real critique is that the angle of the fence cannot be adjusted, so squaring is left solely to blade adjustment... Also, and this is why I give a 4 on quality, one of the cast iron wings was a little warped coming out of the box: about 3/32" across the width of it's face... If you are looking for a life long saw, then this appears a good choice. There really is very little left to desire: It assembled well (you will be best off with a second pair of hands for this. Takes ~ 2 hrs), the dust collection is very solid, and it's wheel mechanism makes for excellent and easy movement around the shop. The price I paid was a real steal, but it is worth every penny of it's standard price, as well. Enjoy it! You won't regret it.

    Smooth and Sturdy
This saw replaced an old Rockwell 9" saw that I bought in 1981 that had a stamped steel table and wings. So the Delta 36-5100 is a big leap from that. Assembly and Alignment, The assembly took a few hours over a couple of days when I had time to work on it. Here are a few observations that I came across and aren't in the documentation. - When installing the fence rails make sure the rails are up against the gauge. If they are low at all the fence will drag on the table and not move ... read more smoothly. - There are 4 locations were the trunions bolt to the table (picture included) loosen these to align the blade to the miter slot. - There are 4 set screws included that screw into the cast iron wings to adjust the outside edges of the wings to level with the table. There is a note about this with the instructions, but I didn't see it until I was done with assembly. - don't forget to remove the styrofoam block that is supporting the motor for shipping. DADO NUT not needed, Online you will find that there was/is a special ARBOR NUT needed to use a dado blade, and this may have been true on earlier models. It is no longer needed and my order was cancelled because it was unavailable. The last paragraph of the instructions state to remove the flange washer if your dado stack is to wide to use it and just use the nut. It appears that originally the nut and flange were made together and that is why you needed the special dado nut. Shipping an Delivery. I chose to have my saw delivered to Home Depot and pick it up there. When the box was brought to the counter ( on a pallet with a fork truck ) the box was upside down on the pallet and had been turned over somewhere between the factory and Home Depot. The rip fence is in a separate box and the end was torn off of it. It all looked OK so I excepted it and headed home. The only issue I found was the rip fence scale had a couple of spots that the marks were chipped off. Delta is supposed to send me a new scale, but I haven't received it yet. Overall I am very happy with the saw and I think it will last for a long time.

    Good Saw Poor Instuctions
The saw is very heavy and it should be. I purchased this over the Lowes version because of the single rail, more HP, and the cast iron wings. Instructions are terrible of course anyone with half a brain can figure them out... however an example is that it refers to the screws for the rails in bag "F" well there is no bag F, the bolts were in bag "E". Takes about 4 hours to put together and I did it by myself. Factory aliment is off on EVERYTHING. I expected the fence to be off, however the saw ... read more is off to the miter slot and the manual shows no instructions on how to adjust it. It's so bad from the factory that with the fence adjusted and square a 6' board is 1/8 of an inch off from one end to the other. I know how to adjust it but it will take a bit of time as I have to take things apart to get there. The manual says the "bevel stops are adjusted at the factory to 0 and 45 and should not need adjusting but checked from time to time"... they were both way off and I had to adjust those too. Oh how I want to make this a 5 star review because I like this.. but I can not when they send something out of square such as the motor to the table, then give no instructions on how to square it. It's is quiet and very vibration free that is very positive. Don't know how accurate it is yet because I have not completed adjustments. What is so odd my old Ryobi BT3000 that I had for 10 years that I upgraded to this from was square right out of the box.

Finally got my "dream saw" for my work shop.
The saw is very accurate and once calibrated it keeps its adjustments. The instructions are a little "fuzzy", but with patience it goes together well. Packaging is OK, no damage noted, but my saw came missing the metric bolts and washers for the rails. Jet sent them out via UPS but after waiting for the original unit to arrive, the added delay was disappointing.

    Great saw for me
Shipping - was via estes express lines from Tennessee. They schedule a lift gate truck. My saw was to be delivered on Friday, but I had already made other plans, so I picked it up on thursday. Besides I didn't want to wait another day. The saw arrived on a pallet with 4 boxes. With the fence rails in a seperate box. All the palleted boxes were light enough to carry, but the box with the main saw weighted 225 pounds. So i needed so help getting it off my truck. I had thought about picking the ... read more saw up in my van, but I would never have been able to move the heavier box. Set up took some time. The instructions were easy to follow and I even had all the screws and other parts. The blade was factory aligned and stayed in align even after bouncing around in a semi truck for 1,000 miles. I bought a wheel cart with extension from ebay and the saw fit perfectly. The cart was from CPO outlet and they had the cheaper price. The table is larger than I expected and it makes easy cutting for plywood. It is hard for me to handle a full sheet of plywood, but the saw would handle it very well. I use a Frued Diablo, it has a thin kirf and makes for better cutting. I purchase a jet dustcolletor and between that and the saw, not much makes it to the floor. Overall the saw works great and it the nicest saw I have ever owned. I am able to make cabinets easier and make more accurate cuts. I use to own a shopsmith, but I out grew it.

The best table saw I have owned.
This is the best saw I have owned in 30+ years. I have always owned Craftsman. My last one burned out so I decided to spend more money and get a better saw. This one is so much easier to use and cuts like a dream over the cheaper saws. Should have done this years ago. There was very little setup. I only adjusted fence guide marker and bevel indicator. This took minutes. The only other setup was the stand (4 bolts). All minimal. A high quality saw. For extended support, I bought the Rigid Flip ... read more Top Portable Work Support. Works great and inexpensive. Do not hestitate to buy this saw.

    Great Saw all around
I'm a Craftsman of 40 years and I have use several table saws for the new home and cabinetry jobs. This saw is very smooth to operate in every way, powerful enough to do just about anything in the trim and finish work of a home. I just purchased my second saw after 7 years of hard work with my first one but my old one still kicking strong. I strongly recommend this saw to anyone needing to buy one. David

Accurate, easy to use portable table saw
I will echo the experiences of the other users. I got it on black friday at Home Depot 2 years ago and have used it quite a lot. The cuts are accurate and the table is flat. The only minus I can find are the table is somewhat loud and the blade has no brake. I like the folding stand.

    An excellent product !!
I had to leave my woodworking shop behind when we moved and down-sized. I researched long for a portable table saw that was a quality product, would perform well, and would be easily stored in a reasonably compact fashion. I recently purchased the Bosch saw, and I couldn't be more pleased, given the flexibility of it. It is of excellent quality, easily assembled initially, performs well, and is readily stored in an easy folding maneuver to a compact size. The Bosch folks obviously did their ... read more homework in designing and building this portable tool !!

easy to set up and use, quality build and performance
The rolling stand is easy to set up and use and makes the saw feasible in the space available. However, beware of exposed sections of bolt threads. I'm reluctant to cut them off until I'm sure they don't serve an essential purpose. Meanwhile cover them up. The saw required slight readjustment, probably due to rough handling in transit. Has performed flawlessly so far and maintained the adjustments made. The blade supplied has left very smooth surfaces in cheap 2x4 and in 2" cherry and oak which ... read more it handled with no strain. The machine uses all that a 20 amp circuit will provide, however. Trying to use other machines with significant draw will trip the breaker.

    Great saw for it's purpose
I bought this saw to use as back up when I need to have jigs or other adjuncts in place, so I can keep my cabinet saw free for cuts. I love it I did buy the digital fence and the extensions, & dust bag as well. Although I won't be taking this out on jobs (because I really don't do that any more. I can see how it would be great for that as well. One feature they don't list which i think is great is it is a left tilt saw, which is an option on finer saws. Dust collection is great as well. The only ... read more thing I had a problem with is while assembly I turned it upside down on a clean bench and still scratched the top surface which is some sort of skid paint. I expect a top to be tougher than that but it's not going to affect the performance much for me. I just wish it was tougher or not even applied in the first place.
