Very good purchase - has served me well. fence and splitter could be better.
I came to carpentry late in life having not done it before. I decided to build my own kitchen cabinets including face frames and doors. I agonized over the decision of which table saw to buy, mainly because there is such a lot of advice out there online and so many strong opinions. I bought this saw about 2 years ago and am very very happy with it. It's light enough to be portable although in fact I have had it in one place in my basement for the whole time. I bought the outfeed and left side ... read more supports as well which have been very useful. You will need to buy a proper blade, and I spent the money on getting a good one. It's very solid and sturdy. I have it up on a bench I built for the purpose, and when using large pieces of wood or sheets of 3/4 inch plywood the saw itself never wobbles. You definitely feel like you've got a solid piece of equipment. The only downside on this saw is the fence. It does not click in at a perfect 90 degrees with any amount of certainty - there is play in it as you click it into place, so if you are doing work that requires super-fine angles this might not be the saw or fence for you, but what I've found in two years of work is that it is definitely good enough for my use similarly the splitter attachment behind the blade is not excellent. Over two years of use it has got a little bent and does not always line up perfectly with the blade, which has led once or twice to a piece of wood being snagged. Probably user error but the mechanism that fixes it in place seems flimsy and not as finely tuned as you'd expect. So overall, for making accurate rips and cuts in sheet material and lumber to the quality that you'd use for paint grade furniture and cabinetry that you'll use in your own house, I think this is a great machine. If you are a professional of course you'll probably be looking at something higher end.

    Awesome Saw
Perfect saw from the first time I took it out of the shipping box. Smooth and quiet operation.

    Great Saw and Excellent Value
Did a lot of research and it was a toss up between this saw and a Dewalt. This saw performed excellent, I recently used it for reconstructing a stair case (cutting risers and treads) as well as installing laminate flooring.

good so far No trouble ripping 2x4 down the middle
All great so far . The stand is some what flimsy . Relatively easy to move from place to place.

    Great saw
I've had it for a month now. I love it! It cuts accurately right out of the box. Fence is straight and square. I can't comment on the stand as I built a rolling cart for it.

This saw has met and exceeds my expectations.
Product is compact and light weight, yet provides sufficient work space. It is capable of performing cross and rip cuts with ease. Setup and breakdown is very simple and storage features are convenient. My initial impression of this saw is positive and I am pleased that I purchased this DeWalt 10 inch portable table saw.

    Just a darn good saw.
I'm a contractor and already own the larger TS2400 jobsite table saw and love it. Wanted something smaller and easier to transport, but still had to be "contractor grade" and durable enough for the jobsite. Picked this one up at HD on black Friday for $269. Saw the online ad for $169 and HD honored the online price. Been using this saw on the job and very happy with it. Solid, lots of power, and quality controls. Only negative I have is the flimsy plastic used for the cabinet. I know the plastic ... read more is not structural, however the cord wrap is molded into it and is very flexible. No biggie, I just don't wrap the cord around it. Was happy buying it for $269, but getting it in the end for $169 made it a phenominal deal. Very capable for daily use on the jobsite and perfect for the homeowner.

    Nice size saw for homeowners
Bought this saw a week ago. Mounted it on my old 35 year old table saw base. Cannot find a specific base made for this model. The saw is great. Start up is a little loud and unusual at first. I guess it starts on no load. The rip fence can be moved with one finger. The guards come off with loosining one lever, no tools needed. Miter gauge has tab to keep it in the slot. Blade height and angle operate smoothly. Storage for miter gauge, cord, blade wrench, and push stick. Shopped for a new saw and ... read more chose this one because it is better quality and a good price. I own a 12 inch Ridged compound miter saw and now this Ridged table saw. I like there quality.

    Great Table Saw
Picked up this saw for 70 bucks after the holidays with all the gift cards I received. Followed the instructions to check to make sure everything square and it was dead on out of the box. I had an old craftsman table saw that was my grandfather but just didn’t have any horse power left in it. If you are looking for power this saw has it. I’ve been making cabinets out of ¾ inch maple and ripping the sheets 4x8 and this saw does not miss a beat. It’s very light and best of all portable. Also noted ... read more features are all tools bolt to the side of the saw so you never have to search for the wrench to change the blade and the push stick for the skinny pieces.

    Worth a look
There is not a lot written on this saw, so I'll try to be relevant. FIRST, ... this product is not available in Home Dept stores, it's available online only; so you cannot view it in person ! I looked at a lot of popular saws at all the big box stores in my area and read the reviews onlinebefore just taking the plunge and ordering the "WEN" #3720 JOBSITE Saw , so that I could examine it and compare to the others. I just couldn't find enough info online. "WEN" is not a common brand in my ... read more area, however; I had previous experience with a "WEN" bench mounted spindle sander, This made the decision easier. The whole online ordering process throughout FREE delivery to the store was a simple and pleasant experience with detailed and accurate shipment tracking. If you've never ordered from homedepot.com previously, give it a try; you'll be in for a surprise. Truthfully, I could have purchased this a couple bucks cheaper at a popular Dept. store, BUT ..... Home Depot allows a 90 day return policy on this product if you're not entirely satisfied with it. This gets extended to a one year return for store credit IF you charge the product on your "Home Depot" charge card. I'll be giving this one a real workout. I was also able to take advantage of extended financing on orders of $ 299.00 or more by utilizing my "Home Depot" charge card as well. PROS: * Good power * Accepts a 13/16" Dado stack [ unlike most others in this price point ] * Includes an extra Dado throat plate. [ a $ 40 - 50.oo value ] * Decent power switch ergonomically located * 10 foot power cord with onboard storage * Cast metal Miter Gauge with standard 3/4" x 3/8" tongue guide and preset stops for common angles * Cast metal head on an adjustable fence * Reliable Aluminum fence is secure and adjustable * Pinnion adjustable blade height by hand wheel * Pinnion adjustable blade angle by hand wheel * Sturdy rolling stand * All fasteners are Nyloc , Allen, truss head, painted black * Rugged sealed ball bearing 8" plastic wheels with rubberized tires * Adjustable levelers on feet have wing nuts for adjusting and locking. N0 tools needed. * Right hand table extension rides on Nylon rollers for smooth operation [ after some spray silicon ] * Left side handle doubles as a work support * Front Pencil rail * Onboard blade storage * Includes 2 wrenches for blade changing (onboard) * Includes assembly tools * Instructions are adequette * Two year Warranty * Improved lock on table extension does not protrude handle upward above the table as the "RGD" and other saws do. CONS: * Packaging could be better * Plasic lock handles could be beefier * Onboard storage could be better thought out * Onboard storage could be more secure * Onboard storage is not user friendly or immediatly logically obvious. * Hand wheels slightly undersized * Rear extension includes a cheap stamped sheet metal component, that could easily be improved * The only change I'd make is one full length axel shaft rather than 2 welded axel stubs. This saw is obviously a copy, however; not an exact clone of the popular "oRanGe branD". Home Depot sells It's geared more toward the DIY/consumer than the PRO/contractor Overall, I'm impressed with this table saw and cart. It's lightweight @ 79 pounds, ( approximately 20# lighter than comparable models ) and portable . It raises, lowers and stores neatly. The latch is simple to operate. Out of the box the blade was square to the slots as was the fence. They only feature that it didn't have off my wish list was a double front/rearfence locks. I can live with that for the adequette dado capacity needed for making finger joints on bee hives. I don't know if the tires are 40,000 mile,All Season, " S" speed rated radials or not, however; the bearings are similar to what you'd expect on a premium lawn mower. The plastic wheels are heavy duty, and good looking. They're NOT the cheap BBQ grill looking wheels as they appear in the photos. This saw is loaded with desirable features too numerous to list. As far as assemly is concerned: There are only 4 major frame compnents not counting the two short handle stubs, wheels and fasteners A) The top left side handle B). The center linkage C). The right hand wheel frame D). The left side leg frame with adjustable levelers The last two, " C" &"D"; are already assembled together for you into an X shape Just fasten "A" & "B" to "C" & "D" ... ! HINT: The 2 welded lugs position on top of the frame, not underneath. Then, 4 bolts hold the plastic saw body to the steel cart and wheels are retained with 8mm x 1.25 Nyloc nuts and covered with snap in plastic caps. I added two 1/2" washers to each wheel, one between the frame & back of the bearing and another between the front of the bearing and lock nut.

    1st table saw purchase
I searched for weeks to find an affordable table saw. I had it shipped to the nearest store to avoid shipping charges. It arrived earlier than the estimate. I saw with most saws that come with stands that it is hard to understand the directions and assemble. My 12 yr old and I put it together in an hour or so. we took our time doing it. There was one part that wasn't even in the assembly instructions (extendable piece that goes on the back side of the table). Once I figured out what it was it ... read more wasn't hard to install. I plan on buying a better blade than the one that comes with it however, the cuts I have done so far have been nice so I don't have to rush out and get one. Overall it looks good. Is quitter than the saw my father used back in the day and is easily wheeled around. I like it a lot.

    GOOD SAW AFTER SOME ADJUSTMENTS
The factory settings and instructions booklet were horrible. After resting all the factories settings I like the saw. It will take up to a 13/16" dado blade and comes with a dado throat plate. it has a nice sefe aligning fence and is very portable.

Great tool for the closet space saving contractor
This table saw is vary nice design but I had a lot of problems with instructions photos not clearly taken of the examples so I dumped the instructions and did it my own way and got it built and working I saw another review where the same complaint was given about instructions. But it's fine and vary versatile for custom cuts and I will be using it on an upcoming project and will update this review from on site. The sound is also quieter the other table saws by 20 points. And love it's ... read more portability and flexibility it folds up for space saving junkies like myself

    Same as Kobalt KT1015
Great Saw, also produced as Kobalt KT1015. Delta offers a longer warranty, not sure if it's worth the extra $150+

Excellent Table Saw, once it's assembled
I've always wanted a portable table saw and jumped at the opportunity to order this one. It's heavy duty construction, metal construction with hard plastic wheels. The wheels are rubber coated, so they should hold up. It took me one hour and quite a bit of cursing to assemble it. The drawings are not very good and I had to rely on the parts guide and common sense to figure much of it out. That being said, once it's assembled this thing is great. It's pretty heavy (almost 90lbs) so the wheels ... read more are a must for portability. It folds up nicely and locks well. The riving knife, blade guard, throat plate, and anti-kickback pawls can be easily removed by hand, no tools necessary, and all the adjustments on the saw work well. Just know that if you order this, you need it a day before you're headed out on a job so you can take the time to assemble it correctly and not lose time on the job.

    Great saw
Great table saw. The folding stand makes it easy to set up in seconds. The saw can be adjusted to the right cutting width in seconds with the turn of a knob and cuts are made precisely.

Build quality and best in class engineering
These days paying a premium doesn't guarantee you'll receive a good product. Fortunately this is not the case with this DeWalt table saw. The build quality is second to none and after one use you'll know a lot of thought went into the design. Cuts are smooth and fast and measurements are a breeze. This saw will definitely compensate for its user's lack of skill and experience (which is important for me).

    I love Dewalt!
Everything I expected! The ease of setup and breakdown. Very very precise! Lightweight yet very sturdy. Jut a great saw, just like all Dewlalt tools! That's the reason I bought it. Plus it goes great with my Dewalt mitre saw with rolling stand! Highly recommend this saw!

    Super saw
I needed something to cut aluminum, wood, and plastic. This fits the bill for that and anything else I need

I am very happy with this table saw. It is exactly what I hoped it would be and it fits my needs.
I am a woman in my 70's. I needed a saw like this for some projects I wanted to do. I have limited use of my right hand and a hand saw would cause more damage to my hand. I was in need of a table saw but very afraid of one, especially the ones with the round blades (Husband uses big one). My grandson put it together for me in minutes and showed me how to use it. I can handle this without fear and I feel safe using it. It will open many doors for me in what kinds of things I can do by myself. I ... read more am able to use it for curves, straight cuts and taking old wood things apart which saves me money not buying new wood. I have only just started to explore what I can do with this table saw.

    Wonderful product.
I received this as a gift from my wife. It is very simple to use. The fence out of the box was almost a perfect parallel to the saw blade and took a second to adjust. Though I'm only doing small project with it, it's up to task. the fence adjustment is simple. The fine adjust is spot on, the safety features are easy to use. I really can't find any fault with the saw. The saw is as described in the product description and for the extra $$$ over some similar items it's worth every penny. My ... read more favorite feature is the rack and pinion fence adjustment, I never have to worry that my cuts will be out of square. It's size also makes it easy to store. Love it, highly recommended.

COMPACT job site saw that works for me.
Bought it for it's compact size and quality. Was spot accurate right out of the box. Fence is solid and fence lock is easy to engage and release. 20" capacity can be extended to 24" if needed by taking fence out of it's stop and simply attaching it past the stop (about another 4" of capacity). But, for 99% of my field use, <20" does all the work quickly. Blade is adequate, but depending on your use of this saw, you may wish to upgrade. Small annoyance: no place to store the miter gauge. ... read more Otherwise, very well thought out saw. Fence adjustments are quick and accurate. If I ever sell my large cabinet-grade saw in my shop, this little guy will move with me when I down-size.

    Easy to use
This table saw is really easy to use and relatively light for moving around. The leaver for locking the fence into place is in an easy to reach place which makes it convenient when adjusting it. I built a work table out of our old Corian kitchen counter top and put the saw where the stove top was. I clap on a modified fence when working with longer pieces of wood.
