I have owned this tool cabinet for a month and it is of high quality. The drawers open easily. The wheels work well. It was easy to put together. I am very satisfied and would suggest this model to anyone who needs a moderate amount of tool storage space. Debi

I wanted to buy a cabinet that I could use as a rolling workbench with storage for tools and supplies. I also wanted it to last for many years. After looking at many rolling cabinets, I decided this Excel from Home Depot gave me the best combination of quality, strength, storage and good looks for a reasonable amount of money.

Just the size I was looking for to finish off the storage I needed in my garage. The drawer slides are great and the drawers hold a lot of stuff. Well made and should last for years.
When looking for a tool chest I went to 3 stores comparing a Craftsman $150, a No-name Box at Lowes $170, and this Husky Box. The No-name at lowes was garbage clangy and rattly drawers and no real handle to push it with, the Craftsman was pretty decent but the Husky had the best draw slides by far, slightly stiffer than the Craftsman but very smooth and very quiet and took less effort to lock in place. The box rolls nice (I have to roll it quite a ways indoors at work) and over-all fit my needs

All black Husky
I bought this from the store after I cross-shopped Lowes and Sears. It was the best $$ would buy at the black fri 2014 price (thanks Westerly HD!!!!!!) Opened box at store=no damage, no parts missing.
Assembly was ok, drawers a bit stiff but sturdy enough, lined them up w/ yoga mats=great choice, gave it a coat of wax and loaded it up w/ tools. I'm happy w/ my choice (I also bought the top chest)
Again the people at WESTERLY HOME DEPOT were very accommodating and helpful, and made my purchase a

** only negative thing is the paper labels on it did not come out clean

Good price/quality ratio
The cabinet I got was the display unit and I got a nice rebate to make up for some minor scratches (which were easily fixed with a spray can of black paint that I still had :) )
I also bought the top chest. To complete the set I bought anti-slip foam for all drawers.
Really happy with the chest. All my wrenches, sockets, pliers etc. fit in it and finding a particular tool doesn't take 30 minutes or more like it used to be.
I use the cabinet as a hobby mechanic who does quite some of work on a

The price of this cabinet beats any other brand and the quality is amazingly good.
This is by far the best workbench I've seen or had. It is very sturdy and well thought out. The power strip is very convenient. Just a top grade quality built toolbox/workbench!!

If you are teetering the fence, do yourself a favor a make the purchase. This is a well built box. It fits my application perfectly. The soft close door are a big plus. I need to take the time to transfer my tools and can finally organize them all in one place. Assembly was very easy and took about 30-45 mins. Great fathers day gift from the Mrs.

Milwaukee 60 in.Mobile Workbench
Heavy duty box, nice wood top. soft close drawers. Everyone talks how heavy it is to move, if you remove the drawers it is easy. I believe that you should work smarter not harder. If you can't get the drawers out look up how to on the Internet
I ordered on-line and picked it up at the local store. The employees helped me load it with a fork lift. I unboxed it before they loaded it. The tool box was in good condition, no damage. There was one small paint flaw on the front of one of the drawers. It looks like maybe a bug flew into the paint before it was dry and made some marks. It's not a big deal. I put a magnetic label over it. The wood top is flawless. This tool box seems huge compared to what I've had in the past. Would I recommend

Excellent Value Toolbox
I use this bench as a reloading bench and for tool storage and it works great. The drawers are smooth, have a positive closing, and a solid feel with the weight of the tools. The wheels are nice and big and the bench handles the weight and pressure of the reloading presses. Being a value toolbox, it is still built cheap, just with a generally good design. The drawer lock doesn't function well and it only locks the top and larger drawers, it does not lock the right hand side smaller drawers. mine
... read more had a vary minor dent in the front by the key hole which is probably why the lock doesn't work the greatest. Overall, this bench is amazing for the average joe.

Great value, but one problem
Arrived quickly, put it together and I'm pleased with the quality. However... there was no key. I called the 800 number, gave them the lock number. They called back because they had transposed the number. We corrected the number and the promptly sent a key... which didn't fit. I still don't have a working key.
Not that it matters I guess, but the paint on the bottom was a little scuffed up when it was unboxed, I guess from being slid around during the manufacturing process. Overall good value,
... read more but frustrating hassles with the key and having to make phone calls that didn't get the job done. I guess I'll do without a key unless someone from HD wants to read this and fix the issue.
Picked up my new tool box today and found it packaged very good... The tool box seems very solid and I hope to get a long life out of it..

Good box. Not made in China
This box is made in Canada. Which is nice in a sea of China. Anyway, this box is a very nice box for the price. The drawers are stiff when empty, but when you load them up they slide nicely. Has lots of room, especially the main top drawer which is 54" wide. The drawers stop at 1" from full extension which isnt a big deal. The self-tapping screws arent a big hit for me though. They are a coarse thread screw, with a notch(?) to thread into is the best way to describe it. They dont start easily,
... read more but if you use a magnetized phillips screwdriver to start them, it works way better. Did not have to tap the holes though. The empty holes on the opposing side of the box from the push bar are gaudy though. Id just rather they choose one side or the other for the push bar. Overall a decent box for the money. Holds all my tools with lots of room to grow. No Snappy or Matco. but hey you dont make money with your toolbox.
Ill post some pics soon with it loaded.

Tool Chest Bargain
I am a ground equipment tech for a major airline. My collection of chest, mid box, topbox, and side cabinets had just become too much in too many spaces. I wanted one large box to hold my tools without them being piled on top of each other. The big boxes from the tool trucks are nice but 5-10k for one is way too much at this point in my career. This box meets my space needs without spending a small fortune.
Plenty of space. Nice smooth drawer slides. Sufficient build quality and
... read more sturdiness for pro use. Love the full width top drawer and deep side drawer. Nice pre-cut drawer liners and top pad.
Three of the drawer slides were not hooked into place inside the box. One of the lock bars had separated from the actuator pin. Supplied self tapping screws for the wheels would not start into their mount holes. The option to mount the handle on either end leaves six holes open on the opposite end of the box. ( I contacted Husky customer service to purchase a second handle only to find out that the manufacturer will only supply replacement parts as a warranty claim.)
The drawer slides and lock bar were a 5 minute fix but they really should have been assembled correctly at the factory, and I bolted all the wheels in place rather than using the self tapping screws.
Other than those minor complaints I love the box and have had many fellow techs say how nice it is especially for the price.
Best deal ever...better than harbor freight toolbox...

Good value for the money
I was a professional mechanic for 4 years and I also own a Matco toolbox. Was very surprised with the value of the box and the overall amount of storage. The price on this box is very good. I only wish that they could put a bigger drawer on the top like most mechanics tool boxes.

Great buy if not damaged
Read the review on this site how someone got 2 different damaged ones. The MFGR must have packaged these poorly or Home Depot staff handles them incorrectly because I went to buy one in Milpitas, CA and several boxes looked dinged. We asked to open before we bought, and the 1st one was certainly damaged. The 2nd looked fine.
Product assembly was easy - the included wrench isn't amazing but a ratchet works great. Product was very sturdy in my garage - except when I wheeled it into the corner - I

Very adequate product
This cabinet arrived in good shape and assembled fairly easily, with the help of captive nuts.
The drawers roll smoothly and are spacious. The casters are extra big and also roll well and have effective brakes.
Sturdy unit. Drawers are stable and roll in and out easily. Arrived with a couple of surface dings in the sides but not that bad. Attractive and is used in home shop, so basically does what it needs to and that is provide a tool space/organization and look good with the occasional need to roll it to another portion of the shop. I plan to buy the tool drawer unit that fits on top.

Tool Cabinet Purchase
Handle and caster mounting was easily accomplished within fifteen minutes. The box construction is adequate and drawer operation is smooth. The tool cabinet is not for the professional's every day use but for two or three times a week use, I am well pleased. I would recommend it for others to purchase.

Bigger than I was expecting
This thing is really high quality with a nice fit and finish. The drawers have an auto-detent to keep them closed when rolling it around.
One thing that was a bit of a shocker is how large it really is, it's a bit much to be pushing around as a service station so now that I have it I wish I went with the 24 inch. There is so much room in there though that it is really practical for a garage or shop that wont be moving it around constantly. Its really heavy too. But I love it anyways and will
