Used many, many tubes all around our old house everywhere from the roof down to the foundation during a complete remodel, including to repair some leaky gutters. It is remaining flexible/like hard rubber and so far has worked perfectly and is holding up in all locations. Note that you can NOT paint it (paint won't stick).
Yes, I recommend this product.

Peace of Mind,

Reading the label "Rainproof in 3 hours: and that it can stand extreme temps and moisture I was given peace of mind. I ended up using his on the threshold between my front porch concrete steps and the doorway. It seems to be working but won't know for sure. Unlike the previous reviewer I couldn't do a uniform caulk with tape because the cracks and gaps were irregular not to mention in hard to see areas.
I will use this again for weatherproofing my windows, backporch steps and any other gaps or cracks I can find.
Yes, I recommend this product.

GE II 100% Silicone caulk does what it says...it sticks to almost every surface (PVC and plastics I'd rate a 7 out of 10). This is NOT a paintable caulk...it's 100% Silicone, so of course you can't paint it! Just follow the directions: TAPE (masking) BOTH SIDES of the joint before filling, apply a 3/16" bead, smooth over the joint with a "gloved" finger (latex or rubber) or tool, then IMMEDIATELY (within 5 minutes) pull off both sides of the masking tape. Guaranteed to get a smooth joint and no mess. The joint will last for years.
One word of caution: the joint must be ABSOLUTELY DRY!! Use Denatured Alcohol (no residue) and a cotton cloth to wipe the joint before you apply the masking tape.
I wish reviewers would know what they're talking about before making statements...the GE II 100% Silicone Caulk is the best in the market.

It may say it's for doors and windows, but read the fine print on the label (not mentioned on this site). Unlike most other caulk sealants, this one is not paintable and tends to get everywhere.
No, I do not recommend this product.
