Before you visit The Home Depot to find your dream kitchen, spend some time in
your existing kitchen and ask yourself some questions. The answers will help
you choose the perfect cabinets for your home.
Would you like to change the mood of your kitchen from dark to light or from
traditional to contemporary?
Would you like new flooring, countertops, appliances or lighting fixtures? If
anything is worn, out of date or just not to your taste, consider replacing it
along with the cabinets.
Is the kitchen layout functional? For example, does the sink, cooktop and
refrigerator "work triangle" work well for you? (No single leg of the triangle
should be less than four feet or greater than nine feet.) If not, now is a

1. In-Home Measure Consultation
Our Professional Kitchen
Installer will visit your home for a site evaluation and to measure and
discuss your options for cabinet configuration. Professional measurement
ensures a perfect fit for your cabinets. There is a measurement fee, however,
it will be deducted from your final purchase and installation cost.
2. In-Store Design Consultation
Our Designer will receive the
measurements from our Professional Installer and a meeting time will be
scheduled with you in our store. Once you approve the design, we will schedule
a pre-construction visit with our installer.
3. In-Home Site Verification/Labor Quote
Kitchen Installer returns to your home for Site Verification to verify the
design & measurements are correct and the Kitchen Installer will create a
Labor Quote for you to ensure that your Dream Kitchen will be a perfect fit.
Once you approve the design, we will schedule a pre-construction visit with
4. Final In-Store Design Consultation
Schedule to meet with
your Designer at the store to put the finishing touches on your Dream Kitchen.
Once design and final verification are complete, we will collect payment and
order your cabinets.
5. In-Home Cabinet / Product Check-in
If you have decided to
have The Home Depot Install your Dream Kitchen our Kitchen Installer will
schedule to verify all items have been received and there are no damage goods
right after they deliver, and before installation. If any product is missing
or damaged the Installer will notify The Home Depot immediately and get them
reordered before construction starts.
Kitchen Installer schedules installation and a team of courteous licensed**,
insured professionals will schedule a convenient time to install them. During
installation, they'll take proper care of your home and clean up the job site
once work is complete.
7. Final Inspection
Once installation is complete; your installer will go through a final
inspection with you to make sure the job meets your approval. Best of all, The
Home Depot stands behind the installation service you receive.
