PURCHASED THE DYSON ON FRIDAY MORNING AND STARTED TO USE IT THAT AFTERNOON. GREAT AND LIKE ALL THE COMMENTS COULDN'T BELIEVE THE DIRT THAT WAS IN MY CARPET. COULDN'T WAIT FOR IT TO COME IN THE MAIL SO WENT TO THE STORE AFTER GETING ALL THE INFORMATION ON LINE . MY HEART SAID IT WAS TOO MUCH MONEY, BUT MIND SAID TRY IT. online order system and delivery time was very good. unfortunately, product was not what i ordered. i ordered "cut buddie" and was sent "dust buddie w/cover." returned 2 days later and 1 month later havent heard anything nor credit on card.

This is a very useful accessory for just about any vacuum system. I would have given it 5 stars but I don't have a wet/dry vac so I couldn't try the clearing drains that it claims it will do. But it did an excellent job on everything I used it for. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a low priced effective accessory for there vacuum cleaners.

I have this in a 1851 with a VF6000 filter, and a dust deputy cyclonic separator on top of a 16 gallon drum with a 20 foot hose patrolling a small woodshop. The main debris gets collected in the 16 gallon drum because of the separator, and this and the VF6000 filter take care of the fine dust. I emptied the 15 gallon drum 5 times now (sawdust and whatnot.), and took the vacuum apart. There's no dust in the bag, no dust on the VF6000, and the unit still retains all it's suction power. The dust deputy prevents the bag from getting damaged, and the bag will probably last at least a year of constant use if the separator does it's job-negating the cost of the bags. I will never again own a shop vac that can't accept these bags. I can spend an hour vacuuming up the shop and not have any coughing fits. Totally worth it.

I bought this transformer to power a WiFi enabled thermostat since it needs constant power to communicate with my WiFi access point. Install was quick, the unit is nice and small and well packaged. A little pricey but save lots of time for the install. The product is not available in the store so I had to order it on line. It should be stocked at the store right next to the WiFi thermostats.

Bought to clean my pellet stove and was sadly disappointed. Would only pick up the finest of ash particles and would not work on anything else. I returned it and the store clerk said he had one and it worked poorly too. I'll buy a regular vacuum instead with a Sheetrock filter and just shut the stove down longer to insure that it burns out.

My wife has wanted a Dyson for so very long. 25% off I couldn't pass it up. With three dogs in the house, it was the best investment I've made in a quite a while. Easy to use, light weight. Cleans up like nothing we've ever used before!

This appliance is not worthy your money. The power of Vac is not sufficient to take all trash on the floor, especially on your carpenter.

This is my first time purchasing the floor beater bar brush, but I have had 2 RIDGID Carpet and Hard Floor Nozzles before and it seems they both have the same problem. They are both cheaply made where they attach to the hose or extension. The part is so brittle or cheaply made that if you turn or put any pressure on it it will crack or break. I ordered this product on Dec 6, 2011 & it already broke. The only good thing was no shipping charges, but they do charge taxes.

I have tried generic bags and, although they do a passible job, they are not at "cleansing" as these. These really do seem to clear the air along with deep cleaning.

I bought this item because the bag attachment that comes with my leaf blower requires emptying too often. The process of attaching the collector to my trash can is awkward and the drawstring that is supposed to hold it in place is not strong enough. I remedied that by tucking the collector under bungee cords that I wrapped around the can. Also be aware that you will get covered in dust from blow back coming out of the can while you vacuum and a mask of some sort to cut down on the amount of dust you inhale is a good idea. Once you've worked out all of those little hiccups, make sure you've go a really big trash can (45 gallon or so) and strong trash bags, because you're going to get carried away and just want to keep going and going because the job just got so much easier. If you're thinking about it, get it.

This vacuum is a great buy. The suction is great and adjustable. I'd been using a cheap vacuum for a few months when we first moved into an older house and finally bought this. I was shocked at how much this vacuum picked up the first few times I used it. GROSS! I love that you can quickly take the hose in and out with little effort. Great for spider webs in high places.. The attachments sometimes fall off the back so that's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. Don't hesitate.

Powerful suction and very lightweight. However, didn't notice until it arrived that it does not have a detachable hose for cleaning around edges. Not a huge issue for me as it will be used for large rugs in the center of rooms rather than carpet, but will pose a problem for those needing to get close to woodwork and under low furniture.

Loving family with many large bread dogs over the years. (Four Currently) No other Vacuum we ever had over the years has matched this AWESOME MACHINE! Its powerful but yet extremely maneuverable with the cleaver design. Smaller than usual head gets in tighter places. Easy to empty removable, sealed canister is also a great feature. One Of The Greatest Purchases we ever made for the family You cant compare until you own one. 5 STAR rating for sure.

Comparitively pricey compared to other Mfr. brand filters.

PROS: - Easy to put together out of the box - couldn't be easier. - Switching from blowing leaves to sucking up leaves is as easy as a flip of the switch. - Blower is better than I expected CONS: - The bag thing is kind of weird. Kinda works but a better solution has to be out there. - If you are sucking up leaves that are bigger than the opening good luck. I would imagine if you had maple trees with small leaves this would be perfect. Large oak leaves or long ornamental grass forget it. Not enough suction.

This vacuum REALLY picks up the dirt - my carpet looks like it has been steamed cleaned!!! Love it!!

Very cost effective solution for spills and cleanup. I liked the fact that you could easily use multiple buckets without need to empty when full, extremely usefull.

Works very good on smooth surfaces like driveways and low grass. Have to work the unit a little harder in deeper grass and leaves but overall both the blower and shredder are sufficient to get the job done.

Check the roller brush before you open the package - if it needs replacing you may be out of luck in finding a replacement. For Bissell model 6579-2 the website is out of stock. Waiting for local authorized dealer to get some in stock.

First good usage the machine quit working, will never get another one

I'm using this product for my 3 hp electric chipper. Could not find an original replacement but this one works better anyhow.

I wanted a vacuum that would be good on both hardwood and carpet, and thought this was a dream come true! Well on carpet it works well, but once converted to a canister it is awful. Needless to say I am back trying to find a different vacuum and the germ guardian is in the attic where I use it to vacuum the plywood when I am bored.
