I recently wrote a negative review about the Burbank Home Depot. It was not meant to reflect the negative performance of the Pro-Desk, which by the way is great, or any Home Depot employee who are dedicated professional workers. It was meant to reflect how the stocking of merchandise and providing not only sufficient assistance but just as important knowledgeable assistance though out the store has declined recently. Again the Burbank Home Depot has the best, not even close, Pro-Desk!!

this burbank location is always neat and clean. I usually come here for any of my home improvement needs. These gorilla grip gloves are the main reason why i come here. Best gloves out there. I use them around the house and at work.

Good products and check-out. Poor in terms of lack of people to ask questions to.

I went to buy some light fixtures, boxes, conduit and wiring and I needed assistance. Boy was I disappointed! Chris a new employee was the help. Now Chris seemed like a bright and courteous young man. The only problem, his expertise was in lumber & building. Juan who used to work in electrical and very knowledgeable was moved to gardening. Robert who was an expert in the paint department was moved to electrical which he is not an expert. If you are going to move employees around for whatever reason whoever takes their place should be properly trained and have knowledge of the department they are assigned to. Isn’t the Home Depot motto “you do it, we can help”. I left with buying nothing because I couldn’t get the assistance I needed.
A few other problems at the Burbank Home Depot:
1: Having to wait for items to be brought down from above containers. Time is money for some of us and coming in to buy something and it is not stocked on the shelf has become a big problem.
2: Trucks and cars parking in red zone by pro-desk (safety concern)
3: Not having departments staffed sufficiently. (and as stated above with knowledgeable employees )
4: The updated bathrooms need towels to dry your hands. (I know towels makes more work.
By the way, Lowes has both towels and blowers.
PS: I shop at the Burbank Home Depot almost everyday and I know most of the employees who are great.

This is the cleanest and best stocked Home Depot store in the Pasadena, Glendale, Burbank area. Easier parking and very helpful staff. It is not the closest to me but I often end up there because other stores are out of stock. And, whenever I am there I get great service. On my last visit the plumbing guy, big, with a beard and very friendly, hauled down a box of PVC fittings so I could buy one for $1.35. A closer HD was out of stock and I really needed that fitting. Thanks.
