Went here on my lunch break to pick-up paint for my new home. What was planned to be an exciting experience ended in a load of frustration. Where do I began? It started with waiting in line for assist with ordering the paint. Even though it took some time the Young lady was able to assist me and apologies for the wait. After waiting another (15) minutes she informed me that she entered my paint in incorrectly and I has to wait for the correct order. Once she finished, she called for her supervisor to help assist her with putting the paint in my cart, which too (10) minutes for him to come to the paint area. Once I got the correct order, I headed to check-out and notice all the lines where closed except the self-check. Once in self-check it took a minute to get to the cashier due to one of the screen went out or something of the short. It took the lady another (10) minutes to figure out the machine was broken. I then asked to have another cashier to be open and that if I can get assistance. She scanned my items and walk over to the other machine, which she is now opening. So maybe, she did not think I need assistance putting both (5) gallons of paint into the car because she did not ask and walked away to assist someone else. At this point I am more than frustrated looking at my watch and notice that I have been in Home Depot for at least an hour and half now. I walked over to her and ask for assistant. She they called over the income for Donate to assist with customer services. Well, yet again I waited (15) minutes and during this time the young lady has page this rep about (3)times or more. Finally, I walk out and go to my car. I heard her say I was leaving pull your car up and i will help you. At this point my lunch break is over and I am super late getting back to work. I thought to call the store and express my self to the manager. According to my receipt Laura Aguire is the store manager. After waiting on the phone for another (5) minutes a customer service rep "Tanya" answer and listen to my concern. She offered to transfer me to the manager on duty because the store manager was in a meeting. Well, to my surprise, it was Mr. Donate. Well, can I say that I was not surprise when I was transferred back to Tanya who placed me on hold yet., again. So in a nut shell is was my far worst experience in customer services. Not only was I unsatisfied, I was late returning back to work along with a back ache form lifting those (5) gallons by myself. This is one store that will not get my business again. I

Strongly suggest cease issuing in-store credits and just issue gift cards. In-store credits can't be used online and the products I purchased were not available in the store. I attempted to use self checkout but needed the cashier's assistance to checkout with an in-store credit for a purchase of less than $11.00 and I had to show my ID. This was not a smooth nor pleasant process because the register at self checkout didn't accept an in-store credit without cashier intervention. This is not he customer experience I expected nor plan to repeat.

Don't use self check out... instead look for a cashier named Barbara. She was lively and funny. It was great wrapping up my store visit with her! :)
