Looking for a doormat for our front door. Very helpful employee wasn't sure, but thought they were with doors. wrong, and the door isle was blocked with pallets of stuff, so we had to go all the way around to find that this was not where the mats were. Some are with the rugs and tile, some are elsewhere in the store. You get to search because they are different styles and sizes, and prices in different locations. It's OK, because even though this has taken a long time, now you get to go through a self check register, because that's all that's open. But, oh no, the bar codes on several of the items are poorly printed or torn and won't scan. The nice lady who used to work the register is trying to help 4 people all with scanning/ checkout problems and is trying to keep up, but there is no way to. Get regular folks back working on registers! They can solve problems and have a friendly exchange with the same customers who come in twice a week. The only reason I'm going back to this store is to drop off Lowe's employment applications to the former check-out workers.
