Normally, I have always received prompt help from the employees. Employees are very knowledgeable about the areas they work in. The store is always very clean. I always am asked, can I help you.

We were shopping for an artificial Christmas tree and had been to other stores and online looking at available products. We knew the size and kind of tree we wanted and found one right for us and our budget. The man who helped us load it on a cart and the cashier were friendly. We were very pleased to learn that Home Depot participates in 10% off merchandise for Veterans! Thanks, Home Depot!!

The friendly hometown atmosphere was with every employee I met. It was amazing that such a high percentage of the staff would be so friendly and courteous. Kudos to them for creating such an amazing atmosphere. Wish every store I had to go to had the same ethics.

I highly Recommend this store! All of the associates are friendly and very helpful! I Will do all of my shopping at this Home Depot over the other home improvement store in Decatur!

You had best wait until Black Friday before shopping. The aisles are full of Black Friday sale items covered in black plastic. Trying to navigate through the boxes stacked in the aisles is almost impossible.

STEVE from the Paint Dept is 1,000,000% the MAIN REASON we will ALWAYS come back for our painting needs! He was so knowledgeable about the product, and beyond kind doesn't even say it! We have never been treated more nice by a sales associate! This guy is who you want representing your store! This man needs recognized for his performance! Steve does his job effortlessly, professionally, while at the same making you feel like a friend! This man is most definitely an asset to Home Depot! I highly recommend you to ask for STEVE for all of your painting needs! You will not be disappointed!

If you need a certain color of paint mixed see Steve he is amazing and can match anything .

front isles behind cashiers VERY VERY cluttered. Some employs have attitude, they don't want to check you out, they just point to self serve. I finally got an older man, with attitude to check me out, and he didn't seem to know exactly what he was doing, he was acting like I should check myself out.

This store has GREAT customer service from its employees. They are ready and willing to assist you with your home improvement needs.

The cashier (Angela) that works in the contractors dept. is always very helpful, courteous, and seams to enjoy her job! I always try to get her to assist me when I shop here.

Nice store, well stocked & usually very nice & helpful store staff--EXCEPT FOR CODY IN THE GARDEN DEPARTMENT-DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH HIM, HE IS NOT AT ALL NICE, NOR IS HE HELPFUL AND IF YOU WASTE YOUR TIME WITH HIM YOU'LL ONLY GET FRUSTRATED AND ANGRY.

Generally good store. Most employees are friendly and helpful. There are a few who are preoccupied and not very helpful. One in the past was overly friendly and too helpful. I like to look around unhindered.

The Decatur Home Depot is well organized and flooring displays are above average. The employees at this store are quick to offer assistance. You do not have to hunt them down.

I was recently doing a repair on my side of the city water meter which required several pvc parts and a pressure regulator. I took all the old parts to HD and took them inside the store and laid them out on the floor in the plumbing dept and pressed the HELP button. It didn't take very long for an associate to appear and I showed him what I had to replace. He kindly gathered up all the parts that I needed and answered a couple of questions that I asked him.

One of the best kept secrets is that at the contractors exit and store exit, there are coke machines for only a $1. Great deal!

Tina and Antoinette were excellent, went beyond customer service with a smile. No men to load or anyone to drive fork lift. So they loaded a cart with 70 bags of mulch and unloaded them to our trailer. My husband had back surgery less than 3 weeks ago.. and could not lift anything. They did not complain, just smiled and helps us!! We truly think they should be recognized for their wonderful customer service !! And a raise wouldn’t hurt either !! Thanks again Bridget and Joe Woodall

Thank you so much for treating Veterans & their spouses with respect & the discount is a blessing to our family. Raising four very young grandchildren & having a swimming pool, keeps us visiting your store for both purposes. Thank you & your employees for all that you do to make our experiences pleasant.

I really like the store itself, and its employees. The store is clean and well-stocked, well laid out, and generally pleasent in overall appearance. However, there is never more than one cashier checking you out and you are directed to use the self-checkouts whenever possible. I despise self-checkouts, and do not use them unless I am forced to. Going forward I will probably leave my items at the front rather than check myself out, as I do not receive a discount to do the stores work for it.

Customer service was outstanding by Resheika and also by Christy. To me customer service is everything, if you give good service people will come back and will tell everyone they meet about their experience !!!!!!!!!!!
