    CUSTOMER STORE REVIEWS

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 35 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by The downward spiral of another big box store The store is an average big box store. When the store opened originally in Ft. Lauderdale it was a shining example of what a store should be. It had excellent employees and many helpful experts with smiling faces. As with everything the store has begun to hire a slew of unqualified, unhappy employees who are more than happy when they get a chance to say no to a customer. A certain evil happiness arises from their employees when they have a chance to not get up and help you because they don't have an item, or what you request is not the policy of the store. It's the giddiness of the employee that is insulting. It's like they could not wait all day to be justified in disappointing a customer. May 1, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A love affair with a HomeDepot Garden Shop I love plants, and Home Depot carries a very nice variety. However, the experience was made special by your associate, Angela. Her love of plants is contagious. She shares her knowledge and recommends products. If not for her, I might wander around not being able to make a decision. I have asked associates for advice, but none hade the depth of knowledge that Angela does. I came home to my apartment with more plants than I know what to do with. A neighbor commented that my balcony is like a well organized jungle of healthy looking plants. We laughed, and I told her that if not for Angela at HomeDepot, I wouldn't know a Dumb Cane plant from a Sugar Cane. Please let Angela know that she is a very special associate. If not, I'll have to visit your store with a loud speaker and make sure everyone shopping in the Garden Center knows it. May 15, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Needs improvement Most employees don't speak English, which is completely unacceptable considering I live in the USA. It's great to have a bilingual employee, however, English should be their first language May 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best customer experience ever! I was in the lumber dept when Alan (D28) from the Garden Dept just happened to be walking by...he must of saw the lost look on my face when he asked me if I needed any help? I had a 4 ft x 8 ft piece of wood that I needed to be cut in half because I could not fit the whole piece in my car. First He helped me find the lumber man to cut it but unfortunately the dept saw was out of order! Alan didn't not give up and had another idea... He lead me to the tool/equipment rental dept and asked his assc friend Rodney to help by lending him a saw to cut the piece of wood for me...which he did! I could not believe how far he went out of his way to help me out!!!! He works in the Garden Dept and was probably on his way to the bathroom when he asked if I needed any help in Lumber thinking I just needed a little direction! I don't believe this kind of customer service exists ANYWHERE...not even Neiman Marcus or Nordstrom! I can't THANK YOU enough ALAN! YOU ROCK! Cassandra May 15, 2015
