I rate this 4 of 5 as I reserve 5 of 5 for service that goes above and beyond any expectations. So this is a solid 4 of 5. Store was clean and employees were helpful. I was there to get paint on this visit. There were 3-4 customers requesting custom paint mixes and only 1 employee working in paint at that time. Because I knew exactly what I wanted I found the color sample I wanted and wrote the quantity, sheen, and brand of paint I wanted and gave it to the employee to fill while I shopped. I came back 5-10 min later and he had my paint mixed and ready to go. I have never had a problem with employees being polite and helpful.

I could not find anyone to help lift a 70 pound a/c unit and I had to walk to the other end of the store to just find a flat bed cart.

The purchase of a riding mower has been trying in the past for me. I dreaded the procedure but with the help of a good friend and the HD sales staff, this purchase went by quite well!!

Bought some appliances for our kitchen. Daniel in the appliance department was wonderful.
Most of the employees are simply there for a check. They have zero knowledge about Home Depot, it's departments, or working with their hands in general.
Daniel was fantastic. His knowledge is vast and you get a sense that he takes pride in what he does.
