    CUSTOMER STORE REVIEWS

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 84 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I come here so often, I practically LIVE here! I have been going to this particular store since BEFORE IT EVEN OPENED! Yes, I and a small number of other licensed contractors were invited to the brand new store (the day before it opened to the general public) for a "Free Breakfast" ((provided by McDonald's) plus we each received a gift of a nice boxed Tool Kit (hammer, metal measuring tape, screw driver, etc.). Since then, I've been back HUNDREDS of times (no kidding!). My complaints are few: 1. Knowledgeable sales clerks are often very hard to find -- and often a long wait is involved. 2. Items for sale on the shelves are often in disarray, and sometimes the price tags have been moved or are missing. But hey, I LOVE my Home Depot! It practically IS my (second) home!! August 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A very well organized store and conveniently located The store is very clean and bright, Janitorial staff are continuously sweeping the isles and the whole staff perform their assignment very enthusiastically. They are all identifiable by their names on their assigned aprons. The operation in whole is very well organized . I admire the local management and administrators, for creating and promoting such an environment of high moral among staff and subordinates which is an asset to any entity for successful operation. Good luck and long live to all. August 25, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by surpassed expectactions I usually go into Home Depot with low expectations of customer service and availability. I needed some hangars for a blinds I was reinstalling (because they kept falling down and had not been installed properly earlier). The first associate I found was sitting in the kitchen display area and gave me directions to an aisle where I might find such a thing on a "strip" if it was available. Although I found the strip she was probably referring to, I was not happy because it did not contain the size I needed. I tried to find the same associate to request more assistance but found another one instead, who was extremely helpful. He escorted me to the area where the products were located and opened a box with the size I needed. July 18, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Waste of Two Hours While everyone was friendly, after two hours and five employees (four of whom disappeared) I was told that the item I wanted was not available. The website showed 229 of them in stock, which is why I went to this location. August 16, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Bay Area HD The El Cerrito HD is consistently head and shoulders above all the other ones I've been in - in several states over several decades. Organized and orderly. Well stocked. Really knowledgeable and helpful staff. Pleasant atmosphere. You get the feeling it's a place where good employees are treated well. August 1, 2016
