Have many Ridgid cordless power tools with a stated warranty but every time i have a tool or battery or charger issue i am told by the RIDGID warranty line that my tools were not warrantied properly on line or they dont have a record of that tool number belonging to me. When i produce the receipt and documents proving it was under warranty then they begrudgingly accept your warranty claim but never send the replacement tool or batteries. This has happened frequently enough with me that i have to believe that this is their Alaska Policy and not just a one time mix up. HOME DEPOT- Please require Ridgid to fix this issue or stop carrying the Ridgid tool line. They are giving Home Depot a black eye by association.

My husband and I arrived in the rain to your store. The window over the bunk in the RV had blown in, leaving pieces of tempered glass everywhere. I had called all the glass repair shops in Fairbanks and they could not repair it in a timely manner if at all.One suggested temporary repair using plexiglass. Geoff greeted us when we arrived at your store and offered to help. My husband is disabled which made DIY impossible. Geoff, Mark, and the supervisor, Stephanie looked at our RV and brought a vacuum and some small tools to the RV. They cleaned up the glass and did a template for the window. Then, with the help of someone from the paint department they cut the acrylic sheet and installed the window in a professional manner.

Notified that my ordered appliance was damaged and that they would transfer one from Anchorage. After agreeing to getting one from Anchorage I found out a week later that It takes just as long for the replacement to arrive from Anchorage inventory as it did placing the order from Seattle. That was never communicated at the time of the discussion. Had we know, we would might have purchased one from inventory but we were never provided with the information or the option. Found out that the replacement item was going from store to store enroot from Anchorage to Fairbanks, thus again exposing it to a barrage of handling by moving it from trailer to trailer on its way to Fairbanks. It will be a month without a fridge because Home Depot was only interested in saving a buck in transportation.

I've shopped this location since it opened spent thousands, actually gotten any help only rarely.
Recently they have been having a lot of problem with pricing I was overcharged today and cashier ignored the notice.
On the upside they usually have the building supplies in large quantities unlike competition.

Sent my wife for what she considered a guy purchase. Diane assisted her and even was willing to discuss the options over the phone with me. She was knowledgeable of the product and was able to share other customers reviews of the product that they had shared with her. Exceptional customer service! Diane and Home Depot Rocks!

I needed to build a special frame for a decorative picture. I wanted to use PVC pipe, but I only had vague ideas, as I've never done this before. An employee got on the computer and helped me find an image of what I wanted. She then gathered the supplies I needed. Going above and beyond, she cut the piping to the sizes I needed and assembled the frame with me in the store. As I have lot of stress in my life right now, I am especially grateful for this extra help that allowed me to quickly cross this project off my to-do list. Her customer service was amazing, and she did everything with a smile and great energy.

Bad experience with special order left the order in the store without my being notified for some time. After several trips to the store to ask about the order, I was told that it was in the store and there were too many orders to go through and I would be called.
Six weeks after the door was ordered I was called to pick it up. When I arrived the door was unpacked and the exposed glass was not in packing. The door was bent, but I accepted it because it would take too long to order another. Associates had to find extra cardboard in the store the wrap the door and I was told to carry the mirrors exposed in the back of a pickup truck with advice to "drive slow" so that the cardboard would not "fly out" of the back of the truck.
