It seems the night stockers can't get their job done. Every single time I go to your store you have the isles I need. Locked off. Every time. Why can't the night crew stock the shelves so that the day crew does not have to block off isles? Good thing lowes doesn't block off their isles during business hours.

I have built 9 homes below the University across from Geist rd. Melody Murrah has been a huge help to me particularly in 2016. a person who can make decisions on the arrival of exact materials is indispensable!

The service is very inconsistent. Sometimes the people are very helpful and other times they ignore you completely. It is possible that this attitude comes from the store manager. Recently I needed to speak to the store manager. I went to customer service and they paged him by name. He did not arrive but sent an assistant to me. That is all well and good but I felt I had been fobbed off. This man (Steve I think), answered my question then fobbed me off to a customer service person. The customer service person was very helpful but obviously lacked authority when dealing with someone at Headquarters on a special order. By the way I was doing the special order with HD gift cards for a $600+ item that was available on the shelf at Lowes across the street. This item a Md 735 DeWalt planer could not be ordered online. I was told it was against the law to ship it to Alaska. And of course I could not buy a generic gift card with the HD cards and could not convert them to cash so I could go next door and buy what I wanted. NOOOO that would be too convenient for the customer.

After wandering isles and speaking to 3 employees that were all very unhelpful. I found Lataushia. Seriously best employee in the store. She searched the computer and the isles with me trying to find a certain product. Eventually we found what I needed on the website but it was $30 less than in store. She price matched it or me. And left very pleased and spent the amount wanted. And got all the products I needed. Also to top it all off I had my 5 year old with me. And he answered all of her questions too!!

I have been to other hardware stores and prefer Home Depot hands down.

The ice in front of the entrance and exit doors need to be removed.

Very comfortable shopping at this store. Helpful employees, if needed. and lots of product to choose from, and usually has what I need. Fairbanks Home Depot is my 1st stop for lumber, paint, electrical, plumbing and other hardware.

Went into the store to "BUY" from 4 differnt areas. I was asked 5 times while moving through store, "Can I help you with anything." This was a good experience. This is what I want and expect. If I'm in one of these stores and get no customer service I walk out rather than wat in limbo.

I stop here twice a day some times 3 the guys are always nice I some times ask how was your weekend or family doing. It's cool there always like Hi Joe Good service luv it Keep it up guys Happyyy Holidays

It carries a lot of supplies, but seem to run out of stock very fast.

Great service, good prices, but don't have them cut plywood for you until they change the blade on their panel saw.

Everyone is really helpful as well as the supplies are easy to find

The item I bought (zip ties) was cheaper than Lowe's or Sears . The varied selection was in stock .

Every time I come too home depot can't ever ask for assistance or stock check without having too search half the store for an associate. The days I don't need and just say hello when I come across them they don't bother too greet back and scurry away no manners whatsoever.

Employee was "too tired" to help while I was in store. Decided to place online order after checking online inventory. Took 5 hours to pull order. Employees pulled the wrong material and didn't complete order. When they couldn't readily find the items that were supposed to be in stock, they did not let me know nor were willing to look for the building material.

Have many Ridgid cordless power tools with a stated warranty but every time i have a tool or battery or charger issue i am told by the RIDGID warranty line that my tools were not warrantied properly on line or they dont have a record of that tool number belonging to me. When i produce the receipt and documents proving it was under warranty then they begrudgingly accept your warranty claim but never send the replacement tool or batteries. This has happened frequently enough with me that i have to believe that this is their Alaska Policy and not just a one time mix up. HOME DEPOT- Please require Ridgid to fix this issue or stop carrying the Ridgid tool line. They are giving Home Depot a black eye by association.

has almost everything I need for house work. slowly adjusting to special order items and shipping to my state.

Notified that my ordered appliance was damaged and that they would transfer one from Anchorage. After agreeing to getting one from Anchorage I found out a week later that It takes just as long for the replacement to arrive from Anchorage inventory as it did placing the order from Seattle. That was never communicated at the time of the discussion. Had we know, we would might have purchased one from inventory but we were never provided with the information or the option. Found out that the replacement item was going from store to store enroot from Anchorage to Fairbanks, thus again exposing it to a barrage of handling by moving it from trailer to trailer on its way to Fairbanks. It will be a month without a fridge because Home Depot was only interested in saving a buck in transportation.

I've shopped this location since it opened spent thousands, actually gotten any help only rarely. Recently they have been having a lot of problem with pricing I was overcharged today and cashier ignored the notice. On the upside they usually have the building supplies in large quantities unlike competition.

My husband and I arrived in the rain to your store. The window over the bunk in the RV had blown in, leaving pieces of tempered glass everywhere. I had called all the glass repair shops in Fairbanks and they could not repair it in a timely manner if at all.One suggested temporary repair using plexiglass. Geoff greeted us when we arrived at your store and offered to help. My husband is disabled which made DIY impossible. Geoff, Mark, and the supervisor, Stephanie looked at our RV and brought a vacuum and some small tools to the RV. They cleaned up the glass and did a template for the window. Then, with the help of someone from the paint department they cut the acrylic sheet and installed the window in a professional manner.

Sent my wife for what she considered a guy purchase. Diane assisted her and even was willing to discuss the options over the phone with me. She was knowledgeable of the product and was able to share other customers reviews of the product that they had shared with her. Exceptional customer service! Diane and Home Depot Rocks!

I would recommended because there are not many choices for this type of store.

The garden department during the summer is the best in town!

This is a great store to shop at! I appreciate the help and effort the staff provided.

I like that I can request the online items that normally won't ship to my state. The only drawback of that is I have to do it in person, and my nearest Home Depot is about 90 miles away. The staff is cool, when I need help finding things I can usually flag someone down to help me.

The store carries most of what I need, and prices are good.

Employees here at this location go above and beyond helping me. I never feel rushed or like a bother. Although I am undecided on a particular item, they give me options and really try to listen to what I am looking for.
