I enjoyed my visit. had everything I needed. I mentioned above about how helpful they were in 2011 when we experienced an EF 4 tornado that killed 23 people.

Great store to shop. The sales team is extremely helpful and courteous to shoppers.

As always the Fort Oglethorpe, GA store employees were very helpful when I went there on Saturday.

The customer service was the best I have ever received.

Especially if you like to know the restroom schedule of the cashiers. Yes, they will announce they have to (they would not let me put the word in as it contains inappropriate language, so pea). Not use the restroom, personal break or even a BIO break. The lady actually announced she had to "(they would not let me put the word in as it contains inappropriate language, so pea).". To be fair, I often have to urinate but I do not wonder around introducing myself to strangers with: "I have to (they would not let me put the word in as it contains inappropriate language, so pea)."....Strange but true. Yes I use the self check out to reduce my interaction with the cashiers but when this type of thing is announced and another patron and I both shake our head in disbelief.....Yep, she just said that....

Great experience with Bobby in the hardware department...he helped me think through a project and get all the necessary supplies! ;)

The store is very easy to navigate and it's fairly easy to find help when you need it

Friendly and helpful employees who seem happy to work there and are knowledgeable about the products.The Fort Oglethorpe location is farther from my residents than some other stores but worth the drive.This store was cleaner and better laid out than the other very nearby home improvement store.

I would definitely recommend the Fort Oglethorpe, GA. store as a place to shop because the people there are always friendly and ready to help you find something if you do not know where it is located. There are always plenty of employees available to help and even just answer you questions on how to do a home project that you might have. If I have a problem there are always Managers available to solve it for me. I am 81 years old and just enjoy going to the store to find out what new products are available for home improvement.

From carpeting to paint to appliances and sundry other items, this Home Depot is the place to go. If what you want is not in the store you can probably buy want you want from their online sight. There will always be a very helpful employee there to help you find what you're looking for whether in the store or online. The store was also very clean & orderly.

The paint department people are real helpful and David in the loading department is super help.

Great experience. I was greeted shortly after entering the store and offered help. They knew exactly what I was looking for and helped all the way to loading it in my van. I will definitely be back.

Clean enough, workers are generally friendly, just not enough of them. The new way of doing business seems to be to let the customer figure it all out on his/her own. The employees who are there are run ragged trying to cover all the bases, which leaves customers feeling unsettled and uncomfortable, like we're making their lives even harder because somebody thinks you can run a store that size with half a dozen people. It makes me mad for the customers and for the employees who are doing the job (some of them, anyway) of two or three people and probably making squat in the way of money. I don't know who decides how many people to hire, but they need to get inside the store and do the work themselves and go in as customers to see what it's really like.

Crystal at the Pro Desk is very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. If you're having a horrible day, she will definitely make it a bit better.

this Home Depot is clean and products easy to locate, for the most part staff was friendly, but when you place and order and try calling to check to see if it has arrived for pick up do not look for the correct answer, 1rst you get transferred to 2 or 3 different associates, then finally the one that says they can assist you gives you the reply yes your order is not in. or your order is ready for pick up, so you drive in to the store only to be told SIR I DO NOT KNOW TO WHOM YOU SPOKE WITH BUT YOUR ITEM IS NOT IN YET.... WHAT THE???

My husband had his truck stolen, along with his wallet, this morning. The thief dumped the truck, but kept our keys to our home, truck, & shed. The Home Depot card (from Tidewater finance) was in his wallet, we just didn't have the $ to buy all new locks. Tidewater did say we could go to HD & get a temporary shopping pass (before our new one arrived) because we had to cancel the original card. In the end, Tidewater lied & wouldn't fulfill the shopping pass even though we had over 1,900 in credit. Sensing our irritability & fear of this thief having our keys, Dulcyana (cashier) talked with her supervisor & actually donated all the locks to us. I still just can't believe that they donated almost $100 in merchandise to us. They truly empathized with our dilemma. And the cashier Dulcyana is simply wonderful, friendly, kind, caring, and overly thoughtful.
