The only reason for this review is to let potential customers, know of the pitiful job I feel the employees are doing at this particular location. If there was another similar store in the local area, in my opinion, this store would fall on it's face, and I would shop elsewhere. When I entered the store through the lumber area, there was only on employee in sight, the cashier. I wanted some assistance in finding 8x8x16 cinder blocks, but finding no one to assist me, I went to the area where the blocks were supposed to be located. Although there was a shelf designated for the blocks I wanted, only 8x8x8 blocks were on that shelf. I found several pairs of employees just walking about in the store, now I do understand that employees are entitled to breaks, and my visit was around noon time, but when I was finally able to stop one pair of these employees, seemingly milling around, to ask for their assistance, they told me that that was not their area, but pointed out that what I was looking for should be in a particular area of the store, the area I had just left. Failing to find any other employee who would help me, I then stood in a very long check out line, as there was only the one person checking people out, and there was no one else around or at the service/pro desk at that end of the store. I waited in line until it was my turn to see the cashier. I informed the cashier of what I wanted and I was told to go to the area I had come from to get what I wanted, and then return with the items to be checked out. When I informed the cashier that what I wanted was not on the shelves, even though I had found a shelf for them, I was told that they were either probably out of stock or that it was being stored outside, and that I would have to find it, get it, and then check out. I then informed the cashier that they were stacked right outside the front of the store, right in front of the window where he could have seen them, if he had only cared enough to look, his response was, "Oh". He then proceeded to check me out and told me that I could go outside and there should be someone out there to help me, or that I could get them myself. I didn't see or find anyone outside to assist me, or anyone else's purchase for that matter, so I loaded my purchases myself. It isn't that I minded loading my purchases myself, but I have been recovering from a very serious back injury for a while now and still, I shouldn't be lifting any heavy objects. However, I didn't want to wait until some employee might just happen to wonder outside, to be able to get my purchase loaded, as I had other appointments that I need to go to, and I had little time available to get to them. Everyone that I talked to at the store was friendly, but their responses led me to believe that their attitude was one of, "That's not my job, man". This is becoming the norm for this location. Don't get me wrong, there are some very good, very help, employees at this location, but they are getting fewer and further between.
