Three associates without checking inventory told me I would have to order the product I was looking for when the Home Depot website said this store had inventory on hand. When I finally found the aisle the product was supposed to be on, the person working that aisle said they had never heard of the product (while sister products were on the hooks) and I would have to order it. Never bothered to check inventory, even when I showed him on live phone access to the website that the store showed product on hand.

Thank you to Marlem and Shu from the Kona Home Depot and Ed from the Honolulu Home Depot:. After hearing from someone at your store that they were out of the faucets I wanted and that I'd have to ship them in and pay shipping, I called the Honolulu store to see if maybe they would have the product. Ed said that the Kona store had 14 in stock and I was very surprise cause that's not what the girl in Customer Service told me. So Ed called Shu from your store and Shu found the faucets, called me right away. I told the cashier Marlem about what had happened, and without hesitation she apologized and offered me a 10% discount for all my trouble. I really appreciated the gesture.

Always spend more than I intended.
There's just too much good stuff on display
Like the title says, it's my favorite toy store.
One thing does puzzle me though.
The survey asks if there was someone to help me load my car.
I have been to HD dozens of times and have never had help loading my car.
There is no one at the door to do so.
At least I have not seen anyone, yet.

" Tom " from garden/warehouse. Excellent customer service. Helped us from the first question i asked him, getting necessary paperwork together ( bought a trailer ) , walked us out the door , loaded my new ( 10x8 shed ) onto my new trailer , strapped it down , shook my hand with a greatful " have a nice day " and he went on to help another customer. A rare gem you have there. ' Tom ' exhibits the true essence of customer service , from first contact to shaking my hand and saying goodbye. You dont see this type of ppl around anymore. Great Job Tom!!!!

On researching HomeDepot.com we wanted to purchase Frigidaire 16.6 cu. ft. Frost Free Upright Freezer in White, ENERGY STAR Model # FFFH17F2QW as advertised for $528.00. Advertisement said it should be available in the Kona, HI store. When we arrived at store, the associate said that they only had a larger 20;o cu. ft. freezer for $648.00. And that the smaller unit could not be special ordered. While this larger freezer is satisfactory, it does not fit as well in our limited space and the higher price stretches our finite budget.

We have been doing a home remodel, a portion of which is the result of an insurance claim. We purchased most of our tile before knowing that it would take months to resolve issues with the insurance company. By the time we finally installed the tile, we had owned it nearly nine months. Unfortunately, we over-purchased and were wondering if we could still return the tile even though the boxes were a mess from the recent rains. The response: If you have the receipt, we'll take it back, no questions asked! I tried this at the other big box home store and was told "90 days maximum in original condition", Home Depot recognized that things happen and after buying thousands of dollars in tile, a small return was worth the customer service.
