I purchased new granite counter tops and a sink. The kitchen associate really walked me through the process and helped set up installation. The sink I purchased when on sale after my purchase and the store called me to tell me I was entitled to a price adjustment and refund. They really went above and beyond. Thank you

We arrived 15 minutes before closing with a pretty significant paint order. The associate, Lizzy, was extremely helpful with recommendations - she clearly knows about paint colors and mixing as well as the brands. Plus, we never felt rushed even though the "store closing" announcements were happening and the lights were dimming. Lizzy called someone at the cash registers to let them know she still had customers. The cashier was friendly and courteous, too.

The cashier offered to tie my moving boxes so they would be easier to carrier. She had a great, positive attitude.

Needed some flowers and got it with help and in good time

I have made many mistakes in buying the wrong plants and soil. It gets very expensive and it helps to have assistance when we invest in gardening. My experience in the rooftop garden in Lincoln Pk was excellent because of Brenda, the sales associate up there. She is very nice and takes the time to help us understand plants and soil to make the right choices for our home gardens, and not only int Spring, but also in the Summer and Fall. Different plants do better in the Fall. Like I just got cone flowers for my balcony. I was going to buy daises, but they would not last. Brenda is really nice in counseling about pots and soil. She helped out a great deal in getting the ideal urns for my house. This made a difference. I hope she continues to work at the rooftop garden in Lincoln Pk. It is the ONLY place I shop for my garden needs. I hope Brenda holds her job year-round. It is sad when good people get laid off and we have to learn to connect all over again.

Somewhat disappointed that I was not able to park in the lot as my vehicles exceeds the 7'4" clearance due to ladder racks. I was required to find and pay for street parking. This will prompt me to purchase items needed in the future at my local Braodview store.

I had a kitchen consultation with Marianne and the experience was amazing. She was kind, patient, and created the perfect kitchen design for me. She is now helping me through the whole process of planning and executing my future kitchen. Thank you, Marianne!

I go into this Home Depot often because it is in my neighborhood where I have lived for 40+ years. There are certain products that I use on a regular basis so I love the fact that when I go into the store, I know exactly where things are. They haven't moved things around or put them out of my reach or otherwise made the shopping experience in any way troublesome for me. I also like the fact that there is always someone right at the front door to ask if you need help. Finally, I am always asked if I need assistance getting my purchase to my car. Perhaps it's all because I am an old lady, but I enjoy the charm of consistently being asked if there is more that can be done for me! :-)

The store was well organized and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely recommend this Home Depot for anyone in Lincoln Park.

My last two visits capture my feelings about this store. I hate shopping for light bulbs. The new efficient ones often have an odd hue and don't look natural. When I was lingering by the bulbs recently, a manager (Joe) asked me what I was looking for and guided me to the PERFECT light bulb for my needs. Today, Nelissa helped me with a solution for replacing my bathroom fan. What a friendly, helpful woman! Lastly, at the checkout, I was waved over by a young woman who directed me to her aisle. She had a wonderful, big smile. Not only do I almost always find what I am looking for, I enjoy the atmosphere of this store. It's a great place to shop.

Was in and out of the store in no time. The items were placed on the shelf within easy reach and able to find. The store was well lit and free of clutter

I don't typically work around this Home Depot, so I will usually stop at one around my job sites. But this one is just down the street from me so I stopped by on the way home. Everything was super easy to find and the associates were knowledgeable regardless of the department they were in. The associate that helped me knew where everything I needed was and helped me pick out exactly what I needed for the job. Will definitely be doing more shopping here!

Every time I shop at home depot I get ideas to change things in my home from just walking around. I always buy more than I was looking for because the prices are great and so is the selection.

The store's organization makes it easy to find what you're looking for and the associates are both friendly and eager to assist.

I wandered around for a few minutes before I found a sales associate who could help me with my inquiry about carpet samples. She was very polite and helpful and asked another sales associate about carpet samples. He said that the Lincoln Park store does not carry samples of every carpet shown and that I would either have to order the samples (which would not arrive in time for my Sat., July 11 measure) or I could go to the North Ave. store which carried the samples. I was disappointed and had to cancel my measure this Sat. because I don't have time to go to the North Ave. store prior to Sat. I was in the Lincoln Park store on Monday evening, July 6 and was disappointed that there were not more sales associates available to help. I must have searched for someone at least 10 minutes or more.

We went to Home Depot for a grill and some gardening supplies and were blown away by the service at the Lincoln Park location. Joe, the store manager, gave us great advice about the grill we should get, and found everything we needed and gathered it for us by the checkout while we finished our shopping on the gardening roof (which is amazing with a great view of the Chicago skyline). Once we were finished, Crystal, another manager, checked us out using a scanner right where we were standing and made the whole process painless, considering how much stuff we had. She even helped us load everything into our car! They were both very kind and it was all around a great shopping experience

It was more difficult to find items in this store relative to other Home Depots due to less clear organization and aisle labeling. However, salespeople were readily available and the saleswoman I spoke to was able to point me in the right direction.

Aaron was extremely helpful. He sought me out to ask if I needed help, which I did. He helped me and I was able to get my mission accomplished in less time.

came in for something, was told right away where it was, associate help get right one, cashier was happy, paid AND GOT OUT ALL IN 5 MIN! EASY :-)

I'm a life-long city person and renter through and through, and have minimal home improvement experience (unless we count, like, changing your shower curtain). My boyfriend and I decided we wanted to paint the kitchen and bathroom in our new apartment, but I had some anxiety about this project. Lizzy saw us looking at paint chips and asked if we needed help, and when I explained our situation to her, she went above and beyond in giving us advice (what tools to buy, what brands to pick, how to pick good colors) and reassuring us that we COULD do this and that we'd be so happy we did. She described the colors she'd painted each of the rooms in her place and how much fun she had doing so. By the time we walked away from the paint counter with our samples and tools, my anxiety had been replaced with faith and hope. If you need wall painting advice, FIND LIZZY!

Howard in flooring provided excellent service. My carpet order was very complicated, but he was very patient and worked with me to get it right. I could not have been happier with his service.
