I hurt my knee on August 29, 2017 in the Loveland store. The manager Karl/Carl took the customer incident statement. He said someone should contact me. 48 hours later no call. (August 31) I called the store and aske d to talk to a manager. I was put on hold then was asked the reason why I needed to talk to a manager. I explained and she then put me on hold. She came back on and said Karl was not able to put the incident report in on the day the incident happened, because the site was down. But he put it in yesterday. I asked if she was a manager. She says she was the manager of customer service. I was not happy and felt that this is not a way to handle this situation, especially a customer who was injured because of their lack of detail for making sure the area's are safe for customers or employees. My thoughts are that Karl was being irresponsible for not calling me and letting me know that he was not able to put in the report. My knee had swelled up and I had to skip my class among other things while I iced my knee and took care of the pain. The plain fact is that Karl did not think I was important enough to talk to me in person concerning the injury that was caused because of Home Depot's employee's who negleted to actually keep that area safe and who put me in this situation. Plus also Karl did not show any kind of emotion or concern for me when he was taking my statement. Why would Home Depot managers treat their customers like this?
