Very helpful employees

Ed in the Lumber Department is very pleasant and helpful. I couldn't find what I was looking for and not only did he know right where it was, he took me right to it. When I explained that I needed to have the whiteboards cut, he happily cut them for me. What a pleasant experience!

Just always someone there to help me when I need help.

The Home Depot location Matamoras PA 18336 is a wonderful place to shop, you can find seasonal items, as well as everyday home items for repair, or just to make your life at home more effective. The customer service representatives are most willing to go above and beyond the duties to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.

Matamoras store is one of the best run Home Depot stores I have been in. It is always clean and orderly and items I am looking for are easy to find, The staff is particularly courteous and helpful! They get an A+ in my book!

Shopping at this Home Depot store is always a pleasant experience. The store is clean, well stocked and organized, and the store associates are friendly and helpful without being annoying or pushy.

If you know the layout of the store, most products are very easy to find. The customer service here is great!!!

Store was ok. Ordered washing machine, set up delivery. They called the day before the scheduled delivery to confirm. They never showed or called on the scheduled day. When I called the store to advise no one showed up, he couldn't find my order, then told me it was rescheduled (without notifying me, to days I would not be home). I told him to cancel the order, first he offered $50 credit for $737 order with no proof of cancellation. He said they do not get cancellation #'s. Finally he emailed me proof of cancellation with full refund. Then he hung up on me. So they charged my credit card for something they did not deliver, then told me they do not have proof for the cancellation.

One associate Joe was very helpful, after being told by two associates they didn't have the product, Joe brought me straight to the product.

Excellent store with wonderful associates. It was a pleasant experience.

Conveniently located, brightly lit and well stocked

I had trouble locating a telescopic pole for my swimming pool. Evan, an associate was very helpful - he was working with another employee when I interrupted him to inquire about the location of the poles. Evan stopped what he was doing to assist me and show me where to find the poles. Unfortunately there weren’t any more of the ones I needed. As I was walking around the store, Evan found me and had one of the telescopic poles. EXCELLENT customer service! Evan should train the next class of new employees!

I thought home depot was reliable, until we bought a washer by them. If you buy any item off the shelf, and are not happy with it, take it back and get a refund, right? Wrong! You buy an appliance from them, You find out next day, that it is not good, or not good for you, forget it. This place is a waste of time, and money. They are perfect for small things, that You can carry. Anything else I would highly advise anyone not to trust them.

Folks here are mostly eager to help a customer out.

All the employees are so helpful and friendly but one sticks out Amber N every tome we come in she’s always helping never walks away and will stop and give any crusher attention of needed. Love coming to her line

Of all the Home Depot stores I’ve been to in the past few months this one is handing the covid situation the worst. Limiting access to the store to just one enter ace and basically forcing people entering to cross paths with those leaving. They are simply being lazy so they only have to monitor one door. But it’s creating a bottleneck of people at the entrance and along the main aisle along the front of the store. I won’t be back.

These are truly difficult times, but they become bearable when you are around caring folks, like Devon.

All employees I encountered were very friendly and helpful. I had to measure some plywood that I purchased and the service was phenomenal. They cut it to perfection!

The Matamoras store is hidden from the main highway. Besides being tucked away, this store has become a second home. However, when ever I am up at my second home in Cuddebackville, NY, I love coming to this store to get the necessary items I need to work on my home. I am a handy person and love building, repairing and restoring many items on my property. This store makes it convenient and the staff are always cheerful and helpful whenever I visit. This definitely makes my shopping experience a pleasure. Thank you!

The appliance specialist Cesar Acevedo was pleasant and professional in his way he help me buy my GE Electric Range and GE Top Freezer Refrigerator he went over the purchasing and delivery. He made me feel confident about my purchase.

I personally prefer Home Depot over other stores because they know the products and know how to advise you.

I have had a few experiences with the plumbing department, and each experience beyond criticism. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, always helpful, courteous, and mindful of costs. What more do you need, unless they want to make a house call and install the items?

We love Home Depot and the Matamoras store is our favorite! Everyone here is always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We occasionally bring our dog along and store employees always make her feel welcome. Any time that we need help, anyone we ask is always willing and helpful. It is never difficult to find someone to help. It is obvious that people love their job at Home Depot by their happy positive attitudes, which make shopping here a pleasure!

Great store. Needs tool rental

As a new resident of this area and NO knowledge of tools, building, or repair I have made this store my second home because the staff make it so easy to always want to come back. Everyone is so kind, patient, and knowledgeable when you ask questions, and if they don't know the answer they will walk through the entire store with you to ask other staff member's until my questions are answered. All of the staff at this store is amazing and I thank all of them for being so kind to me and helping me build my confidence and knowledge so I am able to complete my projects successfully.
