I ordered a grill but did not receive any information that it was delivered to Home Depot in Nashua even after I had tracked the grill and found it was delivered. I called the store in the a.m. and was told it would be available for pick up after 1:00 pm. I went at 2:00, and was told by customer service they don't carry that particular grill but I then informed her I had ordered the grill online and told her about my phone conversation with customer service. She made a phone call and told me the grill was buried and not entered into the system yet and it will take a few minutes because she was short handed. After approximately 10 minutes, she had another associate go down and pick up the grill. He eventually came back with the grill and the box appeared to be damaged and had a strap wrapped around it. I commented to the associate it looked beat, but he said the product was opened and checked for damage. However, I couldn't take the grill because it still was not entered into the system without the grill being there.
I was finally told I could take the grill, and they would work on trying to enter it into the system. Two associates put the grill in the truck for me. When I got home, I checked for damage and surely the bottom shelf had been dented in two places, even with a large amount of packing to prevent damage. I was able to pound the dent out in one area, and straightened out another area to allow one wheel to rotate. The grill works perfectly. I wish I could say the same about this Home Depot.
