IN SHORT I REALLY DONT VISIT MANY OTHER HOME IMPROVEMENT STORES BECAUSE THE HOME DEPOT AT THE BRIELY PARKWAY LOCATION HAS ALWAYS PROVIDE FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND KNOWLEDGABLE SERVICE EVERY TIME I HAVE VISITED THE STORE. I SOLD MY HOME IN EAST NASHVILLE BACK IN JUNE IT WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPEN IF NOT FOR THE HELP AND ASSITANCE I RECEIVED FROM THIS HOME DEPOT. I WANT TO THANK EVERY EMPLOYEE AT THIS LOCATION.

My husband passed away in February. I was reluctant to shop in Home Depot without him for several reasons, one it's was his favorite store and I use to tag alone behind him. I never noticed where items were located so when I entered the store I was fighting back tears and my eyes where watered. I had my list of nine items and no clue where to fine them. An employee named George asked if he could help. I know he saw the tears. I told him I was sorry that I had lost my husband of 54 years and was a little lost He was so kind. He helped me with my entire list which sent us all over the store. He helped me to select items like locks. Showed me how to load a staple gun. I wanted to express my gratitude to George for his kindness and understanding I am ordering a blue cedar chest today from Home Depot and it will be my store of choice. Again, Thank You, George!

On 07/22/2017 My husband and I went specifically to pick up an range fan w/lights that was on sale. However, I did not notice that the ad was for the previous weekend only. Regularly $169 marked down to $99. There was the exact range fan w/lights out of the box without any paperwork but a cardboard box tape inside with "parts". After the floor manager of that area indicated that he did not know if all of the parts were there, we asked at what price would he be willing to sale it. He said he could mark $30 off the $169. We felt it was a bad deal since just a few days before the exact range fans were $60 off the regular price and you knew you were getting all of the parts and if not, there would at least be a specification booklet that came with it to order the missing parts. We certainly didn't feel that this store was willing to work with the customer at least in that particular department. We did end up buying ~$300 in landscaping materials/flowers. and everyone in that department was very helpful from the cashier to the rep who helped us load the truck.

This location must have a real manager that hires great people to face the public. It's rare that all employees I have met are the best with interacting with people. I want to think it's a reflection of the manager, not just luck. Maybe I should ask for a job to interact with people and try good ol' fashion kindness, it never fails. I'm experienced with large inventories and exactness.
