As I said in my previous comments the employees at your store were very, very helpful. Better than at any other home improvement store I've been in. We currently live in Harmar Township and used Sears when it was there and Lowe's neither of these stores were as helpful and friendly as this Home Depot.

My cashier, Donna, was extremely helpful when I was having a problem with using the chip in my credit card. Also, I found more inventory at this Home Depot than another one that I had visited earlier in the day.

I found the salesperson (George V) in tool rental to be somewhat rude, and unhelpful. I was not sure which auger bit would be the best for my job. He was unwilling to discuss it. I had to tell him, and I was unsure what the specific sizes were. He didn't even tell me what the options were. He literally said "You gotta tell me." Then when I used the equipment, it was totally useless due to the tooth bit being way too worn. New bits cost $10. Seriously. Eventually gave me my money back, but only after an argument. They claimed I was using it in clay soil, which I was not. Manufacturers description says that model will go through clay. They threw the auger on the shelf for the next customer to be frustrated by it.

Had to wait at the paint dept. just to talk to someone, I knew I'd wait for the paint to be mixed.should not have to wait for ONE person. Had to wait at checkout while some plumber bought 600. Worth of stuff, ..again ONE cashier, who smashed my stuff in my cart and did not think that was a problem. As a retired Union member I am sworn not to use self checkout lines. ONE cashier at mid day is just Un-acceptable I'm in the process of moving and forsee many trips to a home improvement store in my future,,,,will it be Home Depot? Doubtful...

In general I find knowledge about products to be good, but it can be spotty at times. I was once told by an employee that a basement wall should be primed before apply a moisture block. In fact, the manufacturer requirement is that a primer is NOT to be used before application of their product. Not trying to gripe about this specific issue. It is what it is. I just think employees should understand the limits of their knowledge.
