THIS IS MY HOME DEPOT OF CHOICE, ALWAYS GET AMAZING SERVICE HERE.

They are the best. I feel as though I have my personal handyman, because they always help me with "fixing" problems.

Although the store has about everything you need for home improvement, don't be shy on finding the straight piece of wood in the bin. Would like to see the store do a better job of storing the wood products so that they are less likely to warp. Makes instillation a lot easier.

Mark in the paint department was a huge help for me today. He was able to explain the product differences and gave me great advice on how to complete my project. Thanks Mark I needed the help today.

The store is well marked to find your objective. I'm never wandering down the aisles. The employees are attentive, ask if you need help and are knowledgeable about the products. I get in and out of the store more efficiently than other similar stores.

Great customer service! Consistently knowledgeable and helpful paint department. I have also found other associates friendly, available and willing to help when needed.

Retail is retail. Stores get busy. This store is almost always busy. Why? Because it's a great store! In truth, I've come across employees that are stressed, because, it seems, that they are the only ones in THAT department. But , all in all, I'd shop here again and again. If you get to know your store and the people in it, it's almost like a family. They are always willing to help, but sometimes seem overwhelmed due to lack of help or scheduling??? I don't know. I'll keep coming back. I especially love Jim in Paint, Eva in blinds, Darrel, Melissa and Kevin in garden, Gary in hardware, Tanya and Heather at the service desk. Yes, i have my favorites!!!!But, everyone is helpful!!! Love my depot!!

Good store to shop at...people are really helpful.

Met a very friendly helpful clerk today in the paint department. Not only did he listen to what I needed to purchase, he also directed me to the shelf where the product was located. I needed another product in the paint department and he directed me to that area also. I also needed a 3rd product in the area where insect products are sold and he was kind enough to walk me over to that department and help me find what I needed. The check out clerk across from the paint department area was also very pleasant. The environment of this store has improved from prior years where it was difficult to find someone in the store to help the customer.

Galen is a dream associate. The rest of the process of ordering a floor leads me to NEVER have Home Depot be paid for services because dealing with their ordering, the miscommunications, and the install companies is horrible. It has been 2 months since I PAID IN FULL for flooring that still has not been installed. I am extremely frustrated because each time I went in to ask a question, in order to solve it, I spent 2 hours with an associate. Galen is very patient and helped, but the management has not followed through yet. My order was "lost" the first time, and the only reason I knew that was because I had to go in and ask. The associates called each place the order was supposed to be. (Another 2 hour visit). It was reordered for me but that still took 3 weeks even though they promised expedited shipping. I called to complain to the manager and he said he would get the company's first install date. He did not call the company. I am extremely frustrated and when Superior does come, I have no idea if they will do everything I paid for. All in all...go with a contractor you have recommendations for or someone you know. I like the fact that Home Depot offers installations, but the process has taken an entire summer and if I was not so annoying and going in all the time, it probably would have taken longer.

The store was clean and the aisle headings are easy to read. There were several people available and happy to assist me during my visit and my cashier even checked our light-bulbs to make sure none were broken before bagging them. It was a great experience!

The store always has what I need and people always offer to help me find what I need or carry out heavy items. The people are courteous and there is always enough help available. I love the garden center. It is always well stocked with quality plants.

I was stuck with a wobbly toilet resulting from a failed toilet replace project. Tony and Dave in the plumbing dept took a lot of time to advise me on how to do the job - I worked with the old flange and this fixed the problem

Great store specially the employees, friendly treatment and very knowledgeable. Awesome buying experience with Humberto at the floor and carpet departement.

Associates are very helpful to get assistance and recomemndation.

Home decorating can be quite a challenge, but it was made much easier with the help of this stores staff! Thanks Lisa Brown! You rock!

I visit this store about six to 10 times a year and have always been completely satisfied with service, product selection, and operations.

The employees are extremely welcoming and helpful!

We worked with Sara on a kitchen remodel. She was very knowledgeable and patient with us throughout the whole process. The prices for a kitchen remodel through Home Depot was very reasonable and the entire process moved along at a quick pace.

I have already explained why i was not satisfied with the men who were not willing to help me with a gas trimmer, but Melissa who went out of her way to assure me the product was not a return.

The store is well run. The manager Ann is very responsive and the employees go out of their way to do whatever possible to be helpful. The contractor desk far outshines Menards or Lowes.

Les was very helpful loading the materials into my car. It did take me 2 times to get help in the toilet area.

Ask for Humberto. First went to Mount Prospect location 3 employees at customer service are rude and ignorant. Drove to Palatine location great people working there , especially Humberto . My husband and myself were very pleased with his help.

Great place to go shopping. The employees are very helpful and they greet you as walk by them. They go out of their way to assist you and even ask if you need any help in finding a product.

Fast and convenient with very helpful service. Well stocked and extremely attentive staff.
