I shopped online for store pickup because I want to save time and it is convenience. But the store online pickup clerk was not competent and very hostile. I already gave her my notification email showing the order detail and driver license as ID. She took a long time to look it up and asked me repeatedly for the item description and my name. The online order is usually in the rack behind her and she wasted time looking under the counter. I signed and asked for a printed receipt, she does not know how to do it and insisted that I got it from my email and suggested that the yellow tag is my receipt. Finally she printed something and I have to show her that what page is my receipt. I told her that I had shopped this way for dozens of time and you argued with me that she is with the store for a while and know the best way.

I found everything I needed for my project. The store had great customer service and also has in stock all the items I needed for my current project every time I come to this store.

Everything was perfect until I needed the manager's help to fix a glitch in the system during my checkout. Eleven minutes later, no sign of the manager, not even a call to the front desk to say she got hung up (for example) and she was coming soon. Mind you this is a Sunday night at 8:00 pm. I got tired of waiting, returned everything I had purchased and went to a different store. Eleven minutes is a long time when you are just standing there looking at bug repellents and toilet bowls...

This is my local home depot and i'll always shop here. The employees in the carpet department are generally nice but it's always busy there so it may be hard to get their attention. But they are willing to answer questions and can offer helpful advice.The tile department has been especially helpful, offering alternatives (including different places for things that Home Depot doesn't have) and advice on the best way to do things and equipment.

Actually I have to go back a couple of weeks when I went into the store specifically for a particular plant caddy. Inventory said you had some but probably behind sales. I want to commend a couples of employees now because I did not purchased anything then. Anthony and Becky in the garden dept. tried diligently to find the caddies, and after two weeks when they came in, Becky remembered to call me. That is great customer service.
