As a restaurant owner and property manager, I have had to deal with customer care day in and day out, 24/7, and learned early on that retail business is tough and competitive. In my 30 years of doing business, I have never seen a quiet leader (especially in a box store) as I have seen in Tony K. I had a very bad weekend with my contractors and needed a huge amount of materials to get my remodeling job done. He solved the problem through active listening and reflection. He never interrupted me when I was addressing the problem and in the end offered me options to my issue. He worked tirelessly in 3 hours, including gathering, loading and unloading materials--he didn't care about getting his hands dirty. He has tremendous amount of industry knowledge and ensured we had received 5-star service. He worked quietly with modesty, restraint, and tenacity to solve this difficult problem on a Sunday when Prodesk was closed & I am pretty sure the store was understaffed. Tony gave my project 5-star service through great leadership qualities, effective communication, team building, and lead by example. We were extremely impressed with Tony's unsurpassed customer service. In the last 30 years I have shopped at Home Depot, I have not seen a leader as I have seen in Tony, a store manager who puts loyalty, commitment, perseverance, and integrity first and foremost.
