I recently had a very negative experience at the Hamden store. Within three minutes the management and the staff at the store had the problem solved. The store is so much cleaner so much more organized, and so much better staffed than the Hamden store. I will go out of my way now to frequent the store from this superb experience.

Staff at the Stratford store have been helping me for over a year while on a project locally. They never fail to be both professional and accommodating for all my shopping needs.

The Stratford, CT Home Depot is a positive retail experience. We were greeted upon entry. Directed to the department we were seeking. Pleasant customer service rep was willing, able and capable to help us. Maria was efficient and professional.

Something go happened with customer service at the Stratford CT store- for the better! Amazing greeter (double checked which aisle my needed item was at) and Keisha at checkout was fabulous! Warm and helpful - made my day. Thanks Keisha and young man!

The store offers a wide variety of products and services for your home improvement project and prices are great!

I went to Home Depot for my kitchen project I am so glad I did..

The store itself was clean and nice, but my experience with Christine is why I will never go to this store again. I stopped by to buy screws to fix a door at my job. I asked Christine for help finding the correct size. While looking for the screw with Christine, I called a part by the wrong name, to which she responded by saying, "You're a boy, learn the correct names.", implying that as a "man" I should have known the names. It is important to not that I am a FEMALE and only have my hair cut just above my shoulders which does not make me a boy. In shock, I said nothing in response. She then went to check me out at the cash register and asked, "Cash or card?'. I responded that I would be paying with a card, to which she said, "It's literally only $0.67. You seriously don't have a dollar?". This made me feel embarrassed for not having cash. I again froze and let her know that I do not carry any cash. Then, Christine spoke to another employee in front of me and said, "See, we don't need men at Home Depot! I just helped this GUY find screws." She emphasized that I was a "guy" and how they did not need "men", even though I am a FEMALE. Either way, it was extremely disrespectful, sexist, and out of line. I said nothing and when leaving the store she had the audacity to say, "Make sure to fill out the survey on your receipt and tell them how well Chris did!", wanting me to compliment her after she insulted me and my intelligence for 20 minutes straight and embarrassed me in front of other staff members. I would most likely never return to this location due to my fear of seeing her again and experiencing more emotional damage and embarrassment. I have never been treated this way in the general public, let alone from an employee that I politely had asked to help me!

On Sunday 29th January,2013 the service I received from Elsa was second to none. She exhibited a high sense of professionalism and attend to me needs in a timely manner. I appreciate you Elsa.

we just purchased a home and have 13 windows went to home depot and the lady in that department was so helpful and nice and helped us pick out colors and styles. Just had them installed and my new home looks so beautiful.

Ken helped me find the Ryobi brad nailer I needed for my project. He had to get a huge set of stairs because the nailer was very high above the display. He also found a box of batteries and charger that was a good deal. Then helped me find the appropriate nails. Excellent service!

I come to this store almost like twice a week for a ll projects around the house, aside from the location that is convenient from my house, the staffs were always helpful and take the time to really assist and take me to where I need to go

Ms. Bless helped me out by locating the item I went in to purchase and she used a big ladder to get it down from boxes up above. Great customer service.

She made fell so welcomed and she is amazing. She is so personable and answered all of my questions. She should be in higher position in that store she was very reasonable and she looked and talked she genuinely enjoy her job. She is so personal able and outgoing. You know when you walk through the door and employees start bombarding you. Well this wasn’t the case she asked me once if I needed help and once I said yes she drove me to every right direction. I am giving this a 4 star review not for Angelina in painting she is a 10/5. But because the store doesn’t have Apple Pay. This is a HUGE company with SO many stores but yet they don’t have Apple Pay. Home Depot let’s get with the times please. And stop making it a hassle for people to pay. Again Angelina thank you so much for your amazing service you have to me!!!!! Definitely coming back when I need to purchase paint again!!!

They were both helpful to me and my mom. Even though they were busy they still got everything done for us.

We were able to find everything we needed in a timely manner. Every aisle we went down, we had a friendly customer service representative who was willing to help and all with a smile. Once we were at check out, our cashier Jeneva was a joy to have assist us in applying for a home depot card. I would definitely recommend this location to my friends, family and neighbors!! Keep up the excellent work!!
