I needed light bulbs for fixtures from the early 90s. The lady in the paint department noticed me struggling with so many choices and came to my rescue! Just sorry that I didn’t get her name.

Always a great experience and I go often. Employees always offer help and are interested in what you’re working on. It’s rare to find employees that actually like their job and the people!

I had an online order that was totally messed up by wearhouse employee. When I called to report what had happened to the Thomaston store, the manager was very helpful and even offer to help correct the problem. I did not accept his offer but I am glad he tried to help correct the problem. I am sure I will go back to Thomaston store one day but right now, I am just really ticked at Home Depot.

I went for a specific item. I had to sort through product to find acceptable lumber. No one offered assistance. The only way to buy what I needed was to go through self checkout. Training customers to give you money for the privilege of taking care of their own needs will fail as a business practice. It will also contribute to the laziness and apathy that is taking over the up and coming generations.

I have not encountered the frustrating issues that I have dealt with at other Home Depot stores. I sincerely hope it stays this way. Everyone has been polite, helpful and seem to actually care about customer service.

Everybody has always been nice and helpful at this particular store and I haven't had to wait in line for an unreasonable amount of time.

The Home Depot #8527 Thomaston store has a 'friendly and helpful' persona. The staff are very helpful compared to some stores. It is always a joy to shop at this store. The store always has an inviting atmosphere.

Typically on our trips to this store we aren't greeted with anyone asking us if we need help. We shop at this location frequently as it is closest to home. The last trip to the store my husband and I were greeted by THEO. He was extremely helpful, went out of his way to address our needs, offered to cut the paneling we were there for to the size we needed (we didn't even know this could be done) He engaged with us to find out what other things we may need for our home and just provided a lot of information and gave us his card if we had any questions about install. He wasn't being an over the top, obnoxious salesperson. He was down to earth and friendly and overall it was a great experience because of him. I wish all employees had his work ethic and attitude. I can't say enough good things about THEO. Y'all ask for him when you go for any carpentry related help.

Hire more associates like Elaine. Most helpful lady.

always tidy and my wheelchair bound husband can go anywhere in the store. He loves to shop here and so do I. We found all that we were looking for on this trip, ( and a little more).

Go see The tall young lady Mimi she is a mess she keeps the crew laughing. If you’re having a bad day she will make sure u aren’t once u walk out the store.

The store was very clean, all employees were very helpful and we enjoy shopping here. We went to pick out a storm door and needed installation as well. Theo assisted us and went over and above to make sure we were happy with our choice and with the installation. Overall, a wonderful experience.

I still remember the excitement years ago when we heard Home Depot was coming. It made such a difference in our lives to be able to buy locally for our rural home where we grow, repair, or build just about everything we use. We are now in our 70s and still shop about once a week. Never had a bad experience. I remember a winter day when I needed lettuce seeds for my early garden. An employee remembered the seeds had been packed away to make room for Christmas. She located a scaffold, climbed up, and rummaged through large boxes until she found lettuce seeds. I kept telling her that was not necessary, but I've never forgotten her in all these years. Just this morning I was anxious about some flea product rebate cards I had received from my vet. I worried about holding up the line, the embarrassment of them being rejected, etc. The cashier Elaine turned it into an adventure. The fact that the cards worked was secondary to how she made me feel. This kind of service is normal at our local Home Depot.
