When I leave a store feeling better than when I went in, I know I've had a delightful experience. When I entered the store, a sweet lady at the entrance directed me to exactly where I needed to go, and she was right. A couple of the automated self check-outs were busy, so a lady beckoned me to her check-out line. She asked about "colors" and said she thought they were the right colors for me. The store was not busy, no one was waiting in line, so I wasn't holding anyone up as I asked Cashier Eve about her interest in colors. I found her fascinating and a delight to chat with. Most cashiers would not take the time to recognize something special about a customer, and I was very appreciative. She made my day!

Friendly staff and nice cashier

I have lived in Garwood for 30 years and have had the pleasure of shopping at Home Depot in Garwood since the day they opened. At that time it was known as Villagers Hardware. We in town are very lucky to have this store. Keep up the great work!

Since I now have a little more space, I will tell you more about the exemplary performance of Nelson X and Patti X at your Garwood facility. I asked for Nelson's advice on a complex home repair, which he cheerfully offered. In addition to his sound advice on the repair method, he helped me in the selection of an excellent repair material to be used in the project With no other customers waiting, he asked if I needed anything else. He personally led me to several appropriate locations, despite the nearness to closing time. Patti (mentioned earlier) conducted a large checkout process courteously and pleasantly without acting rushed. I left with some great stuff at exactly the 9 PM closing time. I sincerely hope you will have the motivation and to note the 2 other sections where I began my compliments to these fine people. That would be appreciated since I had to spend an inordinate amount of time filling out this survey.

The cashier's we're very helpful with everything I needed.

The employees are extremely helpful and will spend time to find what you are looking for even though the stock is rearranged for Christmas shopping.

The store did not have the product I needed in stock, but got it from another store that did have it, same day and saved me the delivery charge. Outstanding initiative and resourcefulness by employee Ann Booth!

Everyone is friendly at this warehouse. Will be coming back soon for my house project.

This is a great Home Depot location. The employees are friendly, helpful, and knowledgable about the products they sell. Store is always neat and well merchandised.

Very polite & helpful & courteous!

We purchased several appliances. The salesperson (Mary Gennace) was very competent, friendly and courteous. It was a pleasure.

I needed some special light bulbs. An employee explained the different types that were available and helped me make a selection. He also asked how many I needed. He explained I could buy one or could buy a package of three. The package of three is what I bought. I also asked him about a suction cup used to assist in removing a bulb and replacing with a new one. He knew what I wanted, but said they did not carry it in stock. He said he could order it on the internet for me and he did that. I then asked about filters for my furnaces. We have two furnaces in our home and each furnace takes a different size filter. He helped pick the correct sizes. When I checked out the clerk was smiling and very friendly. My visit was a very successful event.

This store is almost like going to a local store. It is smaller than the big stores and employees are helpful.

Always service with great people

This store is always clean and well organized. Customer service is exceptional at all levels as all employees I encountered offered assistance. Yolanda's customer service and knowledge in this business is exemplary. And, when she doesn't know the answer (which is rarely) she walks you to the experts and stays with you to ensure you walk out a satisfied customer. Thank you Home Depot, Garwood, NJ and Yolanda for always providing a great shopping experience.
