Poor customer service

I frequent this location to purchase my gardening needs. I enjoy shopping at this location because the customer service is above par. The environment is relaxed and the products I need are always in stock and organized. The young men and women that work the gardening section are always friendly and attentive to help if needed.

This is the closest store to my house, but, I have used it many of times and I’ve always had a good experience. The store employees are great prices are down and I’m always happy to make improvements on my house thank you Home Depot.

Friendly staff-always answer questions.Always available to take the time to walk you to the area if having difficutly finding anything!

It's a rare thing to find cashiers that are willing to go above and beyond when checking out people on a busy day. Not only were they friendly but they also did a great job with a smile. With all of the sour grapes because of COVID-19 it was a pleasure to wear a mask and have a good shopping experience at the Home Depot

Excellent service for curbside pick up. Employees are very efficient, kind and knowledgeable. Customer service employees were extremely helpful on the phone as we do not enter any businesses at this time due to Covid. Thank You

Employees were too busy gossiping with each other to notice me. Asked for the item I was looking and an employee told me "it could be over there" and then went back to talking to his coworker. I went to the area where, the worker thought it might be. And looked for it, when I couldn't find it. I asked a lady sitting at the desk, in the department. She told me it was on the wall over there. And pointed. I asked can you help me get the right one, "sorry I can't leave this area". I found the item I was after. And I turned to ask the worker a question and there was no one around. I put the item back, didn't want to buy the wrong one. And went to pay for the items in my cart. Got to the self check, there were two female employees walking around "cashiers" .the register wasn't responding when tried to pay. The two workers AVOIDED me the entire time I was having this issue.

Store employees and management are very friendly and are extremely courteous.

The Home Depot store in Waukegan Illinois is very convenient its always have up-to-date merchandise easy to order merchandise and I’m so glad we have this store in my community.

Ive traveled and worked all over this beautiful Nation, and shopped at Home depots in practically every state, before I retired. I had a great experience today. Not a New Store, not even in the best Neighborhood, but a totally different store than my last visit a couple years ago. Everywhere I looked, I saw a smiling face, just watching for an opportunity to help me. And this Young Lady~ Stacy, on the Checkout side, made sure I left a happy customer. We are technicians, Builders, and Tradesmen. I have graded this Location hard in the past. But today is a New day at this Home Depot. Something has changed. They deserve to be commended. I salute these very nice people!

I have a delivery scheduled and I have to wait all day not knowing what time it is coming. Convenient for them not for me!

Store was neat and clean, stuff you need are easy to find but they got the WORST customer service, Employees are not very willing to help. It feel like you inconvenience them whenever you ask for help.

Customer service is amazing in this store all thanks to Fermin he is a cashier and went out of his way to help me find what I needed through his phone and pointed me to the right direction. He also checked me out with the sooo much energy like as if he loved his job very much. He deserves a raise. And, 10 token if possible he really is passionate of his job.

Good store

I seldom have to "hunt" for anything. A sales person will always ask "did you find what you wanted or may I help?"

Clean, plenty space and items of all kinds for everyone needs.
