Dana was helping my husband with a problem at the contractor desk. He left to get the item in question, while my daughter and I waited at the desk with the other items we were purchasing. A man with a thick Indian accent came and asked her to watch the registers. She said "ok". The man continued to repeatedly tell her to watch the registers for customers. She then answered "I'm doing what I was told, focus and helping these customers". The man suddenly answered angrily " your being rude and I don't appreciate how you answered me. I am in charge and you need to listen to me". Dana repeatedly said she was sorry and that she didn't mean to sound like that. We did not think dana sounded like she had attitude in her answered. The man walked away loudly saying he is going to tell people about her being rude, and implying he was going to replace her. Trying to get Dana to leave the desk while she try to solve a problem for customers and getting so angry at Dana after she already said ok and explained as to why she was not jumping at his command was inappropriate. We were shocked at his behavior and will ask for a different manager if we ever need his help. Dana was awesome and professional though out the experience.

I had some difficulty in locating the product I wanted - a folding multifunction ladder that was on sale. It was not with other ladders, or with other "sale" items in the usual places (blocking the aisles and/or racks, as usual!) The app was not any help, as it only showed the location as "end of aisle"! (Ummm, which end of WHICH aisle???) One employee did not know but located another from the appropriate department. I showed that person what I was looking for (in the app) and he took me right there. My wife went to get a flat cart, and when she got back the employee helped load the ladder. (I failed to remember his name.) On a different subject, I really appreciate the fact that cashiers have the authority to apply the veteran discount. Thank you. The store with the blue sign used to do that but it took a manager override - a time waster. Now the store with the blue sign makes a veteran go to a specific page on their website to register - a function that does not work! I am already a disabled combat veteran - sometimes I just don't want to fight through any more barbed wire. So thank you for your giving cashiers the authority to do it.
