Shopping here is always a pleasure because the employees understand and practice excellent customer service. They are willing to help customers think through projects and readily offer suggestions on appropriate products for both your needs and your skill level. As a novice home improvement DIYer, I always shop here because the employees make the difference. I highly recommend the instructional workshops, as well: free classes that teach basic home care and home improvement skills.

Andrew in kitchen design has been wonderful with the layout and design of our kitchen. He was helpful in picking the finishes and getting us the best available discounts. Customer service has been excellent!

I had to return/exchange a dryer using delivery services and the associate that helped me with the exchange failed to file the paperwork with the delivery contractor to authorize the return of the dryer to the store. So, despite the fact that I live literally blocks from Home Depot, the dryer was hauled to a warehouse storage facility in Janesville where it sat for almost a month (oh, the money I had paid for the dryer also stayed on my credit card, despite the fact that I no longer had possession of the dryer). I had to call the store repeatedly to get action and they twice failed to submit the appropriate paperwork (the second time almost resulted in the dryer being re-delivered to my home not to the store!). Once they got the dryer back, they still didn't initiate my refund until I called multiple times. The whole ordeal was ridiculously difficult and it was all on Home Depot actions/inactions!

Tanya is the best employee. She is in the garden area and such a sweetheart!!! Tanya is so genuinely nice and helpful! LOVED talking to her when I called and when I met her at the store. Tanya rocks! and the she is the one that makes this store AWESOME! HD needs to hire more employees in the garden area and they should be just like Tanya!
