Customer Questions & Answers

How can I connect these pipes together?

I need a longer segment than 10 feet. How can I connect these together to make the length that I need?
Asked by: STLTL
They sell a tapered , threaded ( female x female ) coupling in some big box stores and all plumbing suppliers that you can use to thread multiple pieces together. They also come in 21 foot lengths at your local plumbing supply company. Or if you need it longer than that and you need it to be seamless you can always hire local plumber or welder depending on the application to do that for you

1-1/2 in. x 10 ft. Black Steel Sch. 40 Pipe

Your store does not stock this item, how can I purchase the product?
Asked by: Wichy
This question was initially asked 13 months ago, but I recently called about the same issue and was told the item has been discontinued. I found some for sale at a local scrap yard.....and Home Depot cut and threaded it for me, at their usual reasonable price.

How strong is the pipe and could it be used for a roll cage

Asked by: Bengi24
I would not use this for a roll cage under any circumstances. You need steel tube which is suitable for structural loads NOT steel pipe
