Mine has broken after less than 18 months after installation. Is there any warranty or replacement policy for such a malfunction?

I see that there is a limited one year warranty, but an very surprised that after less than 25 baths in our guest bathroom, the spring is worn out in this model.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.2 out of 5 by 58 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice solid part Not much to say. This is a nice solid drain. No surprises and looks and functions well. January 9, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by works as advertized I'd recommend, because this is a necessity with certain deep soaker tubs - no options. I knew it wouldn't be simple to install but my plumber did it, so no biggie there. My only complaint is that the white cover for the drain and overflow are not the same white as the Am Std tub. That's a bummer, but a small issue in an overall bath remodel. October 27, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Buy something else! Got the more expensive deep soak drain because of the bad reviews for the cheaper ones. I figured it would be a safer bet that I would not have any problems. I WAS WRONG! The pop up DOES NOT POP UP and it DOES NOT HOLD WATER when it is down either. So now I have a beautiful new American Standard whirlpool tub that I can not use until the new drain arrives. BTW although I did most of the bathroom renovations myself, this piece of junk I had installed by a professional. I am surprised and disappointed a company like American Standard puts it's name on this product! September 2, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GREAT PRODUCT! THIS DRAIN WAS EASY TO INSTALL. I DIDN'T TAKE MY HUSBAND LONG AT ALL AND IT LOOKS GREAT WITH OUR NEW SOAK TUB FROM HOME DEPOT. WE ORDERED THEM BOTH ONLINE AND PICKED OUR TUB UP IN THE STORE. IT WAS SO EASY! September 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just what we needed Professional plumber is installing this; he said it looks to be of good quality and is exactly what was needed for the whirlpool tub. It seemed pretty expensive, but we had to have it for the tub to work properly. July 21, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Didn't like the stopper... Connecting the pipes was easy enough and overall it is a fair value. However, I couldn't get the push plug to adjust to the right depth to either hold water or stay in the down position no matter how much I adjusted it on either end. I ended up buying a replacement step lock stopper that I like better. The new one I bought was also brushed nickel as opposed to the white plastic and I still ended up saving more money than buying the brushed nickel version of this drain. March 10, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Instruction step missing Well you only get one choice of drain for the tub we bought and this is it. Please note the instructions do not indicate the pipe coming directly out of the drain is not sealed with anything. It comes pre-installed but there is no Teflon tape or anything on the threads to keep it from leaking. Check this before you install April 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by all brass this part number was all brass except the stopper which was plastic. i figure that is because of the replacement options December 23, 2014
