Customer Reviews

Rated 3.4 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by standard copper fitting With proper prep, these fittings will work with any copper pipe. I have used this brand on several houses that I have owned over the last 25 years without any issues, works even with 70+ year old copper plumbing. You need to sand and flux all connections before soldering. Leaking connections is a sign of incomplete/improper prep or soldering. June 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I don't understand the negative reviews I have been using copper tubing and fittings for years and I see NOTHING wrong with these. These are the same fittings that Nibco has made for decades. No, they do not fit perfectly on any unprepared pipe...fittings rarely do. Pipes DO slightly deform from the pipe cutter and they require cleaning/sanding to insure a proper joint, EVEN if the fittings seem to fit perfectly without preparation. It is not just the cost of the copper itself that has led to the decline of its use for residential plumbing but it is MORE difficult to install, especially if done correctly. March 19, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dont"t buy They Do Not fit, and if your lucky enough to get them on you will never get them back off March 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Inexpensive great 1/2 elbows I read negative review but have to disagree. I juat bought 2 bags and am plumbing my house ans dont aeemt o have that problem of them not fitting. As a matter of fact, just went to my plumbing supply ( im a G. contractor) amd they sell same brand nibco. Im not a plumber but for me they work just like the should . Hope this helps. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointing I now see why it's called a "Sweat Elbow". You break a sweat trying to get these fittings to work. These things are impossible to put on. I had to subtract 1/16" from each pipe length in order to get them to come out to the right measurement. Not to mention the sanding and reaming I had to go through to get these fittings to 'fit'. The only reason I got these 90's was because it was cheaper to get them in a pack of 10. July 18, 2015
