Rated 1.9 out of 5 by 23 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Thermolec Pro 600 Fits my Thermolec Pro 600 perfectly. A high-pressure line with the correct 1/4" fittings pressed on. No more leaks! Well worth it to have a well-functioning humidifier. Your cats will thank you! January 15, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by why would a product like this be manufactured? I am not a plumber. I fear compression fittings because I was told over tightening is fatal; when I redid my home with a copper tube it took four interval checks where a drop squeezed out and I responded with 1/8 turn before it stopped leaking. This thing, tighten and you're good to go; take it off, put it back, no problem. Now, the problem. The ice ruined any drink it was put into because of its chemical and plastic very strong taste. I ran through 2 gallons when I installed it because I read the reviews. Still, the ice was vile and unusable, and after three weeks we dumped this item and bought a stainless steel supply line from Lowe's. I went there because the well reviewed Everbilt stainless supply from HD, though almost the same price as this aberration, was listed as available, but it wasn't. I personally drove to 4 HD's and chatted twice with customer service for a total of over an hour and they finally concluded they didn't have the 9 or more listed for each store and there was some mistake they couldn't figure out! Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by should not be on the market I had not read the reviews, and used this product for a month throwing away ice to try to leach the foul taste out of the line. When I disconnected the line to install a new line to eliminate the off flavor, I drained the water in the line into a glass and tasted it. The water tasted like burned plastic. I installed a line from Lowes, and the ice has tasted perfect since. August 18, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by bad taste after 2 weeks I saw the reviews about bad tasting water and ignored them. After 2 weeks of making ice they still had a bad taste. I returned the Watts product and after 1 day the new line did not have any bad taste. The packaging did not have a phone number to call and discuss the problem. June 24, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Purchased 1/3/2015 and NO Bad Taste I purchased this hose to replace the copper line that continuously leaked in back of my refrigerator. This hose solved my leak problem and I have increased water flow at the ice maker and water dispenser. After installing this hose, I came online to research pricing. I was amazed to find so many negative reviews with reports of bad tasting water. Perhaps Watts has fixed their bad taste problem because my ice and water have no chemical taste whatsoever. I am happy with the hose. January 10, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by VERY, VERY thin walled hose.... given that this is 1/4" OD (outside diameter) and 1/4" ID (inside diameter) i think the wall is too thin to be water tight....? It does hook up easily since there is nothing between the two end connectors.... The length is actually probably variable.... February 21, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Strong Plastic Taste Excellent supply line in appearance only. This has been installed for over two weeks now and there is a horrendous plastic taste that will not weaken or go away. I'm returning this awful line as soon as my new line from Amazon arrives. February 18, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bad chemical taste. Installed a new filter and flushed filter for 10 gallons. Installed line down from filter and flushed. Hooked up to refrigerator. Water and ice tasted Honorable. Tested water coming out line, water was bad. Tested water coming out of filter, it tasted fine. Replaced Watts hose with a different type now everything is good. DO NOT BUY THIS HOSE TO DRINK WATER FROM! August 13, 2014
