Is this pipe weldable

Asked by: jakey123
Very. I have welded a lot of this material with an arc welder. I used a hole saw to make the perpendicular (90 degree) joints. You could just hammer one end flat and weld it that way, mine was prettier. I have heard that welding galvanized is VERY unhealthy with the chemicals released. Arc welding fumes aren't good for you either. Not sure how much worse the galvanized makes it.

What is the gauge or thickness?

Asked by: ViperEye
Apparently the pipe wall thickness is .06". The interior diameter is listed as 1.0" and outside is listed as 1.12".
