I have a coleman stove that currently has a hose for connecting to to a large propane tank. I believe it has a POL valve fitting on the end. Will this allow me to connect to a 1lb cannister instead? Are the ends compatible?

Answer:
I think it should- I'm going to try it with a Camp Chef stove. You connect the stove's regulator to the bulk tank threads and the disposable cylinder to the other end.

I am looking for an adaptor so I can connect a standard propane blowtorch tool with a fitting for a handheld canister to my larger 25 lb tank

I am looking for an adaptor so I can connect a standard propane blowtorch tool with a fitting for a handheld canister to my larger 25 lb backyard BBQ propane tank. I use too many canisters and it is expensive.

The product description says “adaptor allows for connection of smaller 1 lb. canisters of fuel to 20 lb. tank devices” (i.e. tank-to-tank). Is this adaptor for refilling canisters? or is it for connecting equipment?

Can I use this to connect my blowtorch hose and nozzle to my 25 lb tank?

Answer:
Hi Beau,
To connect a 25# tank to your torch, use the adapter available here: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Cuisinart-Tank-Conversion-Hose-QG-012B/202538406
This allows the use of larger tanks on appliances that normally use the smaller LP canisters.
I've also enclosed a picture of the adaptor.
Thanks for asking,
-Travis
