Where do u put it in?

Asked by: Miikeyd
You put it in the boiler. You shouldnt attempt this if your not qualified you cold get seriously injured. 1st you need to turn the power off to your boiler. 2nd very important you need to drain the pressure off of your boiler if you dont do this you could be seriously scalded. To do this you need to shut off your your incoming water feed to the boiler 1st. Then I would shut off any valves to any zones. Open boiler drain (hopefully this is a good drain thats not going to leak after you re-fill boiler). Remove boiler relief valve. Pour in the proper amount of boiler seal. Re-install relief valve ( I would re-place it with a new one myself) re- fill boiler. Note when you drained boiler you should only drain enough to bring pressure to 0. Re-start boiler and open all valves that you had closed.

I do not see any opening in safety bulb?

Do I have to take it off to put this?
Asked by: John
You would introduce this product through a safety valve opening. I would check with your Boiler manufacturer to locate that. We wouldn't know about your specific Boiler.

Do I need to drain and flush the entire system before adding this. Should I add a bottle to each zone

Three zone system
Asked by: BossMan
I would only drain enough in order to get the product into the system. Follow the directions on the submittal sheet found at www.oatey.com. You will need to apply the appropriate amount of product per BTU's of your system.
