Answer:
Yes, there is. It is not a "hard" off, meaning it doesn't "click" when it goes off, but this heater does have an off setting.

Answer:
The heater is hard-wired. We do sell a portable heater that plugs in, model 6201S. It can be purchased on HomeDepot.com. However, please note that this heater is designed to provide supplemental heat. It is not for use as a primary heat source.

Answer:
I've only purchased this particular brand and the noise it makes seems very normal for a electric forced fan type heater. Its very quiet when first installed but seems to get a little louder after it breaks in. The heater doesn't run all the time so its actually not a problem. It heats up just fine and works properly.

Answer:
Thank you for your interest in our products. The 9815WH has been in our line for over 15 years. Unfortunately, a sone rating to measure the sound is only used on our exhaust fans. And since we would need a model number to make a comparison, I’m hesitant to simply say ‘yes’. I would suggest that you contact our Technical Support Department at 888-336-6151 and possibly they assist your further.

Answer:
Yes, it can be installed in a bathroom. It needs to be a minimum of 2-3 feet away from the tub/shower, and it needs to be on a GFIC circuit. For additional installation questions or concerns, please contact our Technical Support Department at 888-336-6151.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice wall heater The wall heater was easy to install.Nice, clear directions and the product has duel voltage usage and the wiring instructions were also very easy to understand. After it was installed ,turned the power back on ,set the thermostat and that was it.Runs nice and quiet. March 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Really good purchase This unit is relatively easy to install and works great. It is a bit on the noisy side but fills my need very well. March 15, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by efficient This heater, heats our bathroom in a matter of minutes. It's perfect. December 15, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by very disappointed I've owned and operated a Broan brand bath wall heater since 1979, a great heater that did its job well AND QUIETLY. From the minute its new replacement was turned on, I knew that this model, many years removed from my 1st experience with the brand, was going back. Motor noise and vibration coming from the drum styled motor was, for us, not acceptable. I've since purchased a different brand of bath wall heater which, by comparison, you may hardly notice is on and heats very well. Add to that, the price point is practically the same. July 21, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Purchase Easy to install and wiring directions were easy to follow. Great product for the price April 29, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by as expected This heater replaced one just like it. The other one lasted about 5 years and we expect this one to last about the same. We have an old house, built in the 30's, and use this in the bathroom. For the price, and function, we consider this to be a good value. March 12, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by good product unit was completley assembled, easy to install and looks great March 10, 2015
