Installed this Gazebo in March 2011. The fabric roof was thin and pulled so tight on the metal roof support rods that it tore. We cut 1.5" off the end of each of the rods. When the fabric became wet, it would leak, significantly. The welds were mediocre at best and were rusted within the month. Then they started to break. After a midwest windstorm the Gazebo began to collapse. May 2011 we tore it down and left it for the garbage - where it belongs. In 60 days this brand new Gazebo ripped, rusted, broke apart and leaked.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Sueles 2 "young" seniors can assemble this product.
Product had easy to follow assembly direction for the most part, with all parts clearly labelled and packed for ease of identification and assembly. Would have liked more detail and suggestions for pagoda second cover placement and for attachment of metal pagoda frame work. Two of our "ribs' broke when it was raised for placement. We were able to "fix" it, but it is compromised and will need replacement of the parts for next year. Took my husband and me - both early seniors - about 6 1/2 hours to assemble in very hot weather. Looks great, and we love the mosquito netting which eliminates most bugs and all mosquitos and flies.

The first two years we enjoyed the gazebo. The shape of the roof repelled water very well allowing us to use it even if it was raining.
However the canvas top only lasted two years, the canvas was not put on the frame until the end of May and was removed early September each year.
This winter eight of the welds on the frame failed. When the canvas was removed in September there were no broken welds.
I expect it will cost me about the same to purchase a new top and side curtains and have the frame welds repaired as it will to purchase a new one.
I will look at something different as a replacement.

We only got two seasons out of this gazebo. While it lasted we truly enjoyed it. But now the roof is ripping everywhere and you cannot find a replacement. (hint for Home Depot!!) The fabric for the roof is very thin and cannot take much and because you really have to stretch it to make it fit, you have the seams that are under a lot of stress. Would like to find a replacement roof but nowhere to be found. Bought something similar at Lowes because Home Depot didn't have anything even close, sad. Wish Home Depot would consider having replacement roofs for this, have it for other's but not this one.

Just assembled it today, and although it was tough to get the fabric over some of the metal bars, (SUPER tight fit), we eventually got it done. Looks nice up. At first we thought we wouldn't need the bug netting since we live in CA and don't have a big problem with bugs in general, but noticed we had to put the netting on because the netting has the tie backs sewn on them. It was fine since it adds more volume around each leg and fills the whole canopy out nicely. This is an attractive piece, just hope it holds up in the late fall when we get our storms here.

Bought this as a temporary fix to a sunny problem and put it up nearly by myself (not an easy task). Of course now that it's been up a couple weeks everyone uses it! Didn't want to drill holes into patio so I put the support poles into decorative buckets filled with stone. Wasn't quite sure how much wind this would withstand but a storm just passed thru with reported "high winds" gusts over 40 mph and the curtains just flapped in the breeze. :) I was actually online looking to replace it just incase it blew away or tore. Happy with my purchase, no need to replace!

This is our 3rd year with this canopy and ours stays up year round. We are in Texas so we have the opportunity to use it pretty much 12 months a year. My husband screwed it down to our deck and It has weathered many storms with pretty high winds. We have been very happy with it. We have decided to replace the canopy by next spring but haven't been able to find a "replacement cover". Hopefully the little tear in this one (totally my husbands fault) will last a while longer. We definately got our moneys worth.

Based on other reviews we were a little concerned about quality but took a chance based on great price. Quality is actually better than we expected. Attractive metal frame was fairly easy to assemble. READ the directions first. Top was better quality than we expected and sheds rain due to tight fit. Does leak a little at seams and through top vent. Plan to get seam sealer from REI. Very well planned design. Exactly what we were looking for at a great price, Definitely need 2 people to assemble, and use tie downs for wind.
