I found 3D Star of Bethlehem tree toppers to be very difficult to find in any price range. This star was the best I could find, but is far from ideal. The star itself was easy to assemble and was pretty on its own. The problem is that it only has a clear 3-inch cylinder which attaches to the bottom beam of the star to attach it to the tree. It did not work well on my tree. It was unstable and to even get it to stay there at all I had to nestle it so far into the top of the tree, it looked funny. Next year I'll have to jerry-rig some kind of stick to hold it up straight so it will look nice. Disappointing.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Patricia This was the only star I found that I could find tha sat firmly on the top of my outside tree and lit up.
I grew my own. "Christmas tree" in central Florida by training a Passion flower vine to wind around a tomato cage stuck into a container. I shaped the top by pulling the rods together at the top. I had a hard time finding a tree topper that would sit firmly on top and then plug into the other lights that I wound around the tree. The result was very eye catching at a very reasonable price.

I loved the look of this topper on our tree! I have a larger version outside for decoration and was so glad to have a matching one that I can enjoy inside!

Let me start by saying that the star was beautiful. It was perfect for what I needed it for but the con's of the product are as followed:
The white glow isn't pure white, more of an amber radiant glow. Still quite stunning.
The second issue is the cord's length which was about 12 inches. So it took some finesse to work out the cording issue. Even with these few minor problems the outcome was stunning. The image I included doesn't have it lit but shows just how great it can look even without it lighten.
Excuse the living room as I was moving furniture around to accommodate the tree lol.

I have an outdoor version (14") of this type of star and I wanted one for the top of the tree. When I received this item, I noticed the plastic had a pink/yellow hue and the center "ball-skeleton" was a little gray. After assembling it and plugging it in, the star's points were slightly pink and the ball-skeleton was a noticeable red color. This is quite different from the outdoor Moravian star I had before that was totally white even when lit. These two stars must be made from different types of plastic. I am returning this star because it is very different from how it looks in the image.

This is more than just a star, it's a beautiful focal point to any room, home or business. Great for a bedroom, a night light, meditation nook, just about anywhere you may just want to add a beautiful glow. It's hard plastic, so it's sturdy, easy to clean, and has nice clean lines. its litterally a snap to put together. Great accent for any decor. Beautiful for far beyond a holiday season. I highly recommend this star!

I put this together when it arrived (no worries, it took only a few minutes), plugged it in, and it looked nothing like the photo. In the middle of the star, where all of the spikes connect to middle piece, it looks reddish. It's made of plastic, and I am assuming its just the way the plastic is made (see through) in combination with the bulb that makes it look funny. Sad! Otherwise it's cool looking. I didn't turn on the light, I just set it on top of the tree.
