Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not your Dad's mechanic light. I was looking for a typical mechanic's light with a hook on the end that you can hang under a car hood with different light settings. You know the type. This one though, I don't like it, I'm going to return it. The "hook" is not better than a coathanger hook. It doesnt really stay put and the cord, at 6', is not long enough in my opinion. Light is nice and bright, can't open it to change it and it's only on or off no different light settings. Does have a plug with a ground on the light which is nice. All materials it is made with (-hook) are quality and seem like it is made to last. It might work well for some people but not for me.
