Answer:
Really depends on your definition of easy. If you have a 6ft step ladder you can get the cover off the frame reasonably easily but it will take you 20 mins or so. Disassembling the frame would take much longer and would be easier if a helper is available but presumably you would only need to do that if you were moving it or putting it away of the winter.

Plus, our deck is elevated so it takes the brunt of the heavy wind. The canopy did fine the first year. We got it out a few weeks ago for the first time this year and maybe it dry rotted a bit over the winter...because a couple weeks after we put it up, a FEROCIOUS storm blew in...winds so hard they threw our heavy metal deck chairs all over the deck...one of the corner pockets (they're a bit shallow) tore, and then in the ensuing flapping, the rip spread. The canopy was ruined...but I was happy with the performance overall (will winter it over in the house next winter), and just ordered a replacement canopy for the same gazebo.d Read Less

Answer:
Yes, there are holes at the bottom of the support poles. We hired a handyman we located through Red Beacon who installed the canopy for us. The canopy was installed over a concrete area of our back yard and the handyman used a battery operated tool to put screws through the support poles into the concrete.

Answer:
I haven't thought about hanging an outdoor ceiling fan to this canopy. I suggest you contact a local, licensed electrician in your immediate neighborhood and ask the electrician the same question. I'm not qualified to answer your question.

Answer:
It seem Home Depot (Hampton Bay) does not currently sell a replacement cover for this gazebo but there is at least one company that makes replacements for it. If you search the web for "replacement canopy for home depot gazebo 5LGZ6526V4NN" you should find them. It seems to be seasonally stocked. I do not own one so I cannot comment on the fit or quality. It is 3/4 the price of a complete new gazebo.

Answer:
First, search for the name of the manufacturer, then search for their location and phone number.
Second, call or email the manufacturer giving the model and style numbers to them.
Third, tell the manufacturer you are searching for a replacement cover and ask them if they can help you.

So your pretty much out of luck if you need to replace the canopy for this model. I had to dismantle mine and trash it. I had mine bolted to my deck so it wasn't going anywhere. but a wind storm chewed the canopy to shreds in a matter of minutes. I cant fault the product cause the kind of wind that came thru here that day was incredible. Read Less

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by If you are on the fence about umbrella or canopy, this is the way to go pros: 1) good value, looks nice, same (or lower) price as a patio umbrella, but spacious, you can easily put a 7 piece patio set under this canopy 2) with $200 I was not expecting high quality, but this canopy is not bad at all. about 110 lbs, not too heavy but it won't be blow off by breeze 3) regardless that you may not be able to install it by your own, it's easy to put components together. cons: 1) no you cannot do it by yourself, you need at least someone to help you, and ladder is a must, 2) the installation guide does not warn you at the beginning that you need pegs to secure the canopy, so choose where to put it wisely, at least read the installation guide once before you work on it. 3) you need weight bags to secure it April 17, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by One storm took it out completely "Best for use in favorable weather, this is not a permanent structure and should not be used in high wind conditions or in heavy rain." They're not kidding - one storm (just a regular thunderstorm, not a hurricane or anything) took out the whole thing. Amazingly, the cover didn't rip, but six of the eight roof poles and one of the side panels either bent or broke entirely, and all of the brackets that held the roof poles onto the side panels are twisted and bent. Since no replacement parts are available, it's a total loss. I wouldn't expect this to make it through a tornado or anything, but I am disappointed that it couldn't stand up to a thunderstorm. The instructions say to remove the cover before inclement weather, but it is extremely difficult to take it off and put it back on (especially alone), and that also assumes weather forecasts will be accurate. In short: if you live somewhere where it storms, do not buy. April 29, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Canopy it took 3-4 hours of focus, pieces are numbered and the exoskelton came together. I would recommend putting a level on the 4 corner posts to ensure proper canvas roof. took a pic of the final product, i have really enjoyed the shade. April 28, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great buy! This canopy was easy to install, the directions were easy to read and follow. I ended up turning on the radio and taking my time in the sun to assemble this canopy. I had to have my wife come help me with move the four final leg support parts in place, besides that its pretty easy to do yourself. Once we had it installed I added a 303 product to protect the canvas additionally from the southern sun rays and also to repel some more rain. I anchored this down with some simple deck screws and after 2 days of being up we had about 4 days straight of gusty winds and a couple thunderstorms. Our hot tub cover was knocked off the hot tub, but right next that was this canopy - it remained solid and no issues during the entire weather event! I would highly reccomend this to anyone looking to add some easy shade to their deck. Also: it was a big concern for me to be able to walk under the side openings and not smash my head into a pole or support beam, I'm 6'-2" and I can clean the entire structure walking underneath it with about 1" to 2" to spare. Hope this helps anyone looking into this. Oh BTW the shipping came a week early to the store, woo-hoo! April 28, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Totally worth it. There's no better deal out there than this gazebo. It looks great, was easy to put together and so wonderfully priced. I would have liked other color choices but for $200 you can't beat the deal. We put our poles in pots loaded down with rocks, so we can add flowers around all 4 poles in the next few days. We also made sure the pots have drainage holes, which we covered with a screen. Last we shimmied pieces of wood under each pot to protect the deck. It only took 2 or 3 lazy hours for my husband and I to put this gazebo together. Only thing left to do is add our flowers. I feel this is a quality product that will last at least 5 years with a replacement canopy which can be found at Garden Winds online (Home Depot doesn't carry the replacement canopies at this time). But who knows. Maybe the frame will last even longer than that. Again, well worth the money. February 3, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best value for the money The gazebo came in one box approximately 100 lbs. The pieces were individually wrapped in protective foam wrap. The instructions were easy to follow and it was easy to assemble. January 13, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best buy I bought a patio set at home depot and many our other product. Am very happy with the service and am I satisfied with the products December 23, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great for the price Great for the price I was surpised how sturdy it is. The height also surprised me (made it little difficult to put up) .I was happy to find a gazebo that didnt come with screen or curtains since I dont need in my situation. its not portable &didnt come with carry case. I would highly recomend but you do need atleast 2 people to put up but the instructions were easy yo follow & everything is labeled. The legs in photo didnt look as big as they are so thats a plus.
